I think, after six long years full of a lot of fun, growth, and friendship, I'm done with Gaia.

I just think it's time to admit to myself that this is no longer my internet home, and give my thanks to my friends and the people who have given me so much support as an artist. To try and sum up everything I gained from the community here would be nigh impossible. Years of friendship, love, experience, connections, and a lot of fun.

It's not the same kind of site as it was. The administration's attention is no longer focused on empowering the minority, or being creative. The artists who work for the site are wonderful and I am happy for them. But Gaia has become another place to sell as much as possible to the largest demographic, and that makes me terribly sad. On the forums, there are still so many wonderfully creative and talented people, but it's gotten too crowded. It's too busy for me.

I also recently lost my dog Roxy, who was, and will always be, Badeye's soul. With her gone it hasn't been the same. I can't fake the unconditional love and enthusiasm she brought into my life. Without her, Badeye is just me, and I can't stand to see his pure happiness dampened by my human nature.

I'll keep coming back to check on things from time to time, I like to pop into zOMG now and again. Feel free to message me through PM or profile comment. I love you my friends, and am always happy to hear from you.
