Amy ate the mac and cheese, but not the chicken. Scince Kathryn had nothing to eat as well, she had the chicken. When Amy was full, she had only had about half of a small plate left, that was how little she ate. When she stopped eating, Kathryn stopped as well. And then their mom's boy friend, Colin, told Kathryn that she would not get not any cake if she didn't eat all of her dinner, Kathryn repeated this information on to Amy who's faint reply of her ever so popular, "I know" could barely be heard. Amy's Grandmother came to the table and smiled and said in her happy tone, "So, who's ready for some cake?"Amy smiled and looked at her beloved grandmother, Amy liked her better than her mom or anyone else. They both had a special connection the two of them shared. Kathryn stopped eating her food to relay the stupid message that Colin gave her early, "Amy can't have cake if she doesn't eat all of her food." of course the words weren't as civilized as what they look like. That was when Amy had had enough, she started to break into tears, her grandmother embracing her and walking her to the bathroom. Amy's mother was to busy paying attention to Colin to notice that her oldest, and who used to be the love of her life, was breaking down in horid steps of losing self-control, and in public. Amy sat down and cried until she could no longer bring tears to her eyes. Her grandmother letting her cry and let it all out, waited very pateintly as Amy let the truth out, what she had been feeling that she could tell no one else.
The end will be written, as usual in a later post...
