Lately, I've been in a bit of a rut when it comes to roleplaying; people have asked of me very disturbing plots, pairings, and various other things ... It has been brought to my attention that I probably should have some sort of place where I have what I will do and what I will not do in a roleplay. There are no exceptions to these rules. Unless you bribe me. I recommend that you read through this entire entry before you decide to ask me for any sort of a roleplay, whether it be through profile comments or a forum, or even an instant messenger if you so wish. Otherwise, I will not oblige you.
First off, ground rules.
One: I strongly urge you to use correct grammar and spelling in your RP posts. I do not appreciate having chatspeak (i.e: "u" for "you", "2" for "to" wink inserted into replies ... nor do I appreciate the mauling of the English language. There are spell-check programs you can use; there's also a dictionary. Word-choice is another issue that falls into this category, although I can't say too much about it for novice roleplayers. Just try to shake things up a bit-- if you need help, use an online thesaurus. Don't say "pretty" 5 times in one paragraph.. Otherwise, things get boring really, really fast.
Two: One-liners are something I really don't like, nor do I enjoy having to respond to it. I ask you to put as much detail as you can into your posts so I actually have something to reply to. It's common courtesy to at least give 100 % in things like this; if someone writes a long post, don't reply with a simple line of dialogue. Add emotion, add actions! I can understand doing one-liners in a crack roleplay, but when things get serious, you have to put some effort into your writing, as well.
Three ( This only applies to those who play canon characters! ): I like seeing someone who can stay consistently in-character and not stray too far from your character's personality. For example, Maka isn't going to be one to prance around in a skimpy outfit for absolutely no reason at all other than to try to bang Death the Kid. No, just no. Don't do things that your character would never do, under any circumstance; otherwise, I'll call you on it.
Four: Under -no- circumstance are you to nag and bother me about posts consistently. It might take me a while to reply to you; I'm a busy person. I can't spend all 24 hours in a day typing up RP posts. I can understand bothering me if a reply has not been posted in 2 weeks, but before then, don't pester me about it.
Now, on to the things I do and don't do.

xx– I'll always play Death the Kid. Don't ask me to be someone else.
xx– I will interact with OCs.
xx-- Genderbent canon characters are also accepted.
• Fight scenes
xx– Put a lot of detail into your posts. I can't work with vague moves.
xx– Absolutely NO invincibility, a.k.a., god-moding. If this happens, I'll immediately end the roleplay.
xx– No power-playing, either. This means you don't control my character, and vice versa.
xx– If I happen to be fighting against an OC of yours, under no circumstance are they to have extreme regenerative abilities, or anything of the sort. That technically falls under "invincibility." Small amounts of regeneration is fine, just as long as it's not to the point where all damage done is useless.
• Interaction with OCs
xx– I usually won't roleplay a romance with your OC. You'll have to do a lot of convincing for this.
xx– I will interact with children of canon characters.
xx– I dislike interacting with made-up siblings of canon characters, but if you give me an acceptable background story, I can't object.
xx– Please, don't be a Mary Sue or a Gary Stu.
• Yaoi
xx– I will roleplay yaoi. However, I am not particularly a fan of it. Explicit content will not be allowed or accepted in our roleplay.
xx– Don't bother me about this; my opinion WILL NOT change.
• Yuri
xx– This is here for the sake of Kid genderbent. I will do roleplays in this manner.
• Threesomes, or anything of the sort.
xx– No, I will not have sex with both of my partners. Go away.
xx– Come on, this is just disgusting.

And I'm just too lazy to write out a list like this... I can't remember the last time I used my journal for anything period, except an "Okay I'm bored, so let's rant about this!" kind of thing. But I gotta say, I really respect someone who knows how to set boundaries. Good job! =3
