When I dance I feel the wind against my skin
When I dance I imagine I’m on a frozen lake
When I dance
I close my eyes
I let myself wander
And I let the wind move
Though I can’t find myself
I found
Peace
Quiet
And nobody to disturb me
I dance to
Be free
Left alone
And wander
To be here I feel
No pain
No fear
When I dance I take another step
When I dance I let the moment last
When I dance I ask myself why?
When I dance I won’t care what people think
I’ll dance to my hearts content
I’ll dance on for the rest of my immortal life
If I stop I’m afraid I’ll fall into
The darkness
The fear
And pain
If I see a rose do I stop and stare?
If I see a rose will I pick it from its spot?
Or will I just let it stay?
I’ll dance through the whole day
I’ll dance through the whole night
I’ll dance until I feel that warmth again
I’ll dance when my crimson tears stop
I’ll dance on forever and ever
I’ll never stop
No I’ll never stop
When I dance I’ll ask myself why?
I’ll go on until the broken music stops
