“Um… My name’s Ayame. Ayame Miyazaki.” I got up and extended my hand in greeting with a pleasant enough smile on my face. I hoped my greeting would get her to calm down. I didn’t want to make a bad first impression. It didn’t work. The girl looked at my hand as if something utterly disgusting was crawling on it and she was afraid to touch it. She shined a smile at Evelyn and crossed her arms, showing a drastic effort to calm herself. “Do you have any ideas for the role play?” She asked innocently, as if nothing had happened in the last five minutes. Evelyn looked at me with an apologetic look on her face and saw I looked hurt. I didn’t know why she hated me so much and for no reason as well. “Why don’t you…” She turned the girl to face me again “…invite Ayame to sit with us? She can help think of ideas.” She walked behind the girl now and rested her chin on the girl’s left shoulder. She gave me a dark look as she thought about Evelyn’s proposition. She smiled now, not like the smile she gave Evelyn, but one that tried not to scare me away. I smiled back, looking a little shy compared to everybody else. I awaited her response, not knowing what else to do here. “Well,” she said, a pensive look on her face, “OK! No harm done, right?” Her smile twisted in a way I didn’t think possible. “My name’s Maria, and you’ll,” She grabbed my arm, pulling me to the table she was sitting in and I felt her leave scratch marks on my arm, “be sitting with us.” We were at the second closest table to the exit. She gave me a perplexed look, trying to figure me out. I made myself seem closed and placid, trying to get her to stop looking at me like I was a specimen from a zoo. The bell rang and I quickly grabbed my bag from the other table (noone let me get it) and I didn’t stop to listen to Maria’s sentence. I headed out the door before she could do something about it. I headed quickly toward my second period, still using the tracking spell, and I immediately felt this adrenaline rush and I felt jittery. I almost ran to my second period. I opened the door to room two hundred four and slammed the door behind me. The class was empty except for the teacher who was writing something on the board. “Weird,” I said aloud, not realizing at first. The teacher turned to me. A not so large woman, who had one of the school’s spirit shirts on accompanied by an old pair of jeans, now faced me. “Not really,” She replied. “You’re wasting your fifteen minute break. Isn’t there something you want to do meanwhile?” She asked. Apparently no student wastes their time listening to the teacher and have been granted a recreational break to fulfill anything needed within the next fifteen minutes. All was well now. I had successfully avoided Maria. I gave a small sigh and headed to the second seat in the middle row. A girl had entered through the door. Her chubby exterior and long brown hair looked pleasant and showed exemplar resemblance to an Anime character. It looked cute on her. She looked a little shy, her face bent with a frown. I thought I should greet her. She looked like she didn’t open up easy and I’m hoping she hadn’t fallen in with the wrong crowd. “Hi,” she said before I even approached her. I sat there in my chair, my face gave a livid expression, wondering how she knew I was going to I was going to approach her. I shook it off and headed to the seat that was right next to her. A fake smile on my face, and if I was correct, she saw through that too. “Hello,” I said, a little shock reached my voice. She made a face at me and looked at me as if I were the odd one. I gave her the same smile I had given her when I arrived to the desk next to her. She looked at the board for a few seconds and after she looked at me again, I looked at the board and raised an eyebrow in irritation as I learned what today’s lesson will be…
