Holy crap. Schoolwork is going so SLOW. How could anyone who ever falls behind EVER POSSIBLY hope to catch up? How is it that, when I really need to do schoolwork, IT DOESN'T HAPPEN for whatever reason?
So in addition to that, I'm thinking about my senior project. I'm gonna build a new desktop computer from scratch, buying all the components. So I gotta think about what I want to get out of my computer, for starters. I want it to be pretty good for gaming, but other than that I don't really do anything more strenuous than streaming media; I don't even hardly do any graphics work. XP And I know from experience that it's not like I fill up my hard drive all that fast; I have a 300 GB hard drive and I have never, ever gone hardly above half-full. Granted if I had the kind of computer that was good at gaming that might change, but as it is, not a big deal. It would really be cool to get one of those processors that can do that thing where you run a different version of Windows as an application, because I have the Win 7 RC (hopefully I'll finish my new computer and get the full student ver. before this one goes whacko as it's phased out) and lots of games and stuff don't really work on it, due to being, well, experimental. Something that I'll be super grateful for is the chance to get a computer with the new kind of RAM, since my current one has the old kind and as it turns out, it's really expensive compared to the dirt-cheap new stuff.
I still don't know how I'm gonna pay for all this stuff. Well no I do, but I have no idea when I'm going to have the time to work when I've got all this darn schoolwork. >_< But I have no intention of dipping into my money, because I'm a cheapskate when I actually have money? 0-o
