I missed a lesson of Japanese yesterday due to college-ness; luckily the girl I sit next to, Angel, is an obsessive note-taker (although apparently she does little to no studying, but she still had a 90% as of the last test), so I managed to get some stuff from her. Although I still feel behind, vocab-wise. But what I'm most concerned about is the upcoming katakana test; it's a blank sheet, so we have to actually, like, memorize the order in which the lines go. The teacher does have this neat little pneumonic (man, she has pneumonics for freaking everything): aka satan hammer you're winning. Whaaat? Kinda lame. 'Aka' being the noun-form of the word 'red' in japanese, and I sort of loosely associate that color with, well, the devil... and whatever, I totally equated the whole thing with Bowser and Hell Boy at the same time. That's pretty bizzare. In Japanese you just go, "a ka sa ta na ha ma ya ra wa n," which is like woah, a chant there and it sounds cool, but it's too hard to memorize just from what, sense memory or something (I suck at that), so maybe it mysteriously means something in Japanese, but if it doesn't, I'll stick to my Bowser and Hell Boy pneumonic for now.
School is going sucks. I'm behind. Wtf am I doing here? I should be doing those fricking Calculus problems cuz they're like no fricking problem but I feel the need to compulsively do anything other than schoolwork. Magically being a senior sucks. I also need to call and email people and woah woah that whatever needs to be turned in and what's with all that letters, I need to read that docu.... I'm being depressing and surprisingly adult so, stopping right here.
