Zee was prancing around Barton in her succubus outfit while dragging Ray behind her. Ray was trying his best to keep the cape of his vampire costume on, and Tina was following close behind her, the tail of her lizard costume dragging. Zapook was now a black wolf, running around them in circles as they ran about barton.
Panting, Tina stopped, "Wait...Wait...I need to catch my breath..."
Zee reluctantly stopped and sighed, "C'mon...we need to move if we want more treats. I didn't even get an Oh My Gumball yet!"
"Wait. I got one of those. See?" He smiles, holding the item up.
Zee was just about to yell, only to be upstaged by a loud howl from just outside the gates of town. Zapook couldn't help but howl back, and take off toward the gates.
Zee rolled her eyes and started to follow, but Ray smiled, "Don't worry about it, I'll go get her."
As Zee and Tina watched Ray run after Zapook, they sat at a bench and began talking with one another. Nearby, two creatures, one with a demonic red skin, and another with lighter skin, and pale red eyes, were arguing with one another. Tina stood to her feet, causing Zee to grab her arm and shake her head. "Don't even. We'd just bein' puttin' ourselves out there if you did."
"Oh come now, I just want them to at least keep it down." Tina says as she walks over.
Zee growled as she followed her sister, and instead of intervening, they listened to the fight, finding out everything about the war that had been waged over the last few days. Just as quickly as the fight started, it stopped, the two of the walking in different directions.
Zee and Tina stared at the two of them, then stared at each other. As if in some silent agreement, the two of them nodded, and walked away from each other. Tina followed the with light skin and robes, while Zee followed the demonic creature.
Ray had made his way into a garden with hundreds of cherry blossom treats around. He became tense, hearing the howls and hisses of the creatures around him. Following his ears, he found Zapook laying on the ground, whimpering, and saw a cloaked figured holding a sword above their head, ready to bring it down on her. Without second though, a huge mass of dark energy shot from his hands, knocking the vampire a few feet away. Zapook slowly stood, giving him a wolfish smile, which soon faded as the both of them realized they were surrounded. Several of the figures were cloaked and sported wings, while some of them were on all four, growling. The dark made it extremely had for Ray to tell, but there was one thing he already knew;
"I did not want to have to do this while with you and your family around...", he said as he looked back at Zapook, "But I don't have much of a choice."
Zapook just stared back, nodding, before the two of the launched themselves at their pursuers.
