So, today at The NYAF (New York Anime Festival), DJ Helsing showed us a sneak peak at the next month's collectible and tossed out a few goodies before getting down to the good stuff. He had categories listed on his power point like "The tallest/shortest Guy" and "Most original Cosplay" and handed out items like The First Gen HERMES MOON, AND FALLEN WISH!!!!!!! I was technically disqualified in the height category because DJ said and I quote "Hey, Afro's don't count height." XD A little embarrassed in front of a few tens of people I sat back down. So, a category pops up and it turns out to be "The craziest hair." One guy got up and he had slim red hair on the side and thick red hair in the middle. I thought he was going to win for sure and my brother nudged me, telling me to get up and go up there.

My hair was not that awesome, all I had was an Afro and I thought going up there again would fail. I stood up and got DJ's attention and asked if Afro's count this time and he said sure. So, it came down to the crowd cheering to see who had the crazier hair. At first he pointed to me. I expected a few boo's but....I got a lot of cheers and hollers and yells. The other guy got a good amount as well, so DJ redid me and the crowd went WILD!!!! For that, I turned to DJ and he said it was official. He shuffled through his cards and as I listened before he mentioned he had a particular item I was wearing. I was cosplayed as my O.C. Domomansuki (Look it up on Deviantart if you want) and I had a Naruto headband. So I practically begged for DJ to give me the Steel headband and I got it from him!!!! And I really must thank everyone on gaia who supported me then and there and even my brother.
