Caci frantically ran around her room. Should I just run there so I don't make Freyr wait or should I make myself look pretty and walk there hoping I don't make him wait? "Oh, what should I do?" She said out loud.
Her mom walked in. "What's all this commotion about, I thought you were just meeting Freyr in town?" She asked.
"I am, that's what's the problem!" She said almost yelling. "Sorry, it's just so difficult."
Her mom looked her in the eye. "I know how it can be hard when you are in love with someone." Caci turned red at this. "But just follow your heart and everything will be fine."
"M-M-Mom it's not like that." She said turning away so her mom couldn't see her blushing.
"Oh, it's not? I could have sworn that you were in love with him from the way you are always thinking of him. And the way that you always drop everything you are doing when he asks something of you." She said teasingly. "Since you seem to be in a hurry, how about you wear that blue dress you have? Blue is his favorite color after all."
"Okay," she said brightly. She took it and quickly changed. "Bye mom, love you." She yelled as she ran out the door.
