My alarm went off to 104.5 Chum FM. Stupid alarm. I didn't know song so it must have been new. I hate my alarm. Really if it goes off it means school. I hate school. I got dress, oh yay! NOT! Got ready blah blah blah. As I walked to school I could hear a car behind me. I turn but there was nothing there. Great I though I'm going crazy! The whole way there I could hear the car but never see it! What was even odder was when I got to school no one was there! It was a Tuesday, no late start or P.A. day. Odd I though. I walked around and still the was no one. I decided to go back home. Just as I was heading out the door I heard foots steps. I whirled around to see a red-haired boy about a year or so older than me.
"Uh, hey. Do you know where everyone is?" He asked me.
"No" I said. He didn't have a uniform on which meant he didn't go to the school. "Who are you?" I asked.
"Who are you?" He countered.
"Cute" I said. "Where's your uniform?"
"Don't have one"
"You need one"
"Do I?"
"Yes"
"Oh," He stared at his feet. "Well I don't have one."
"You already told me that" I snapped. "Enough, I'm going home." I turned one my heels and began to walk away.
"You can't!" He cried grabbing my wrist. "They won't there"
"What are you talking about?" I asked staring him right in the eyes.
He flinched as if I was going to hurt him before saying "Your the first person I've seen all day. Everyone is gone."
"Your crazy!" I exclaimed trying to get away.
"Listen to me! Please!" He pleaded. He almost sounded like he was going to cry! "Have you seen anyone at all this morning? Anyone?"
I paused. What he was saying made sense. I hadn't seen anyone really. "Well, no" I answerd. "But I heard a car!"
"Did you see anyone?" He asked excitedly.
"Well no"
"Oh," He dropped my wrist.
"Let's go to my house!" I declared.
"What?" He had a puzzled look on his face.
"My house. H-O-U-S-E" I repeated.
"I tell you everyone is gone and you want me to come to your house?" He exclaimed.
"Well yeah, it's better than school" I replied taking his hand and dragging him down the street. "Makes sense right?"
"NO!"
"Shut-up"
