Everyday I continue to smile
for my family,friends,and acquaintances all
to them I seem happy and riled
But in fact I am sad depressed and continue to fall
Never shown to the world
always kept to myself
Anger that has become boiled
Sadness that has become oneself
In the end I'm left alone
Left to rot and die
Crying to the bone
All because of one lie
As you reach the darkest of your hour
You realize that you aren't by yourself
Those same friends and family never turned sour
They helped you all by their self
Now you can stand freely and proud
knowing that you can smile
this time not a lie covered shroud
But a truth that's worthwhile
