So after two months, and much conflict, the casting for the opera has finally been put up. After first period at GSA I ran screaming all the way to find the opera cast. The funny thing was that Mr. Fischer had hid it so I had to run around the whole vocal department building (which isn't that big) to finally find it above the piano in room in room 7. My eyes tore ravenously down the list to find my name right next to Monostotos. I was so freakin excited. I didn't get tamino but I still got a major role in the opera which is awesome. The other cool thing is that I was single cast, which means that I get to sing both nights. The only people single casted was me and Kelvin (who got tamino). I guess they thought that Tamino's notes were just too high for me, which they would guess right, but I'm just excited that I got a major part. Besides that, the day was pretty boring.
I got a guy's number today. I talked to one of my friends and she said that he was really cool and that I should give him a "call" (I think we all know what that means). So I worried about it when I got home for about 2 hours til I just said "screw it" and called him. The problem was that when I called him, he didn't answer his phone. Well, I guess I worried a little too much, and a little too long, to be able to get in touch with him. Oh, well, I guess I can try tomorrow. It's only a day away! cool
