Onima has been dealing with the entire Cat Demon Crew for several days now, and yet Zee hasn't made her move on the girl yet. The only thing Zee likes eating more than humans, and even more than sushi, are girls that are part rabbit. Onima was in that category, but isn't on Zee's menu. Rather than worrying about Onima's safety, Zapook and Tina now worried about Zee's mental state. Zapook decided to follow Zee around, see if she's planning anything. The only time Zee went near Onima is while the two of them were watching TV in the lounge. Zee lied lifelessly against the couch as she sat on the floor, staring into the TV screen. Onima was stuffing popcorn into her own mouth while sitting right next to Zee.
Zapook couldn't take it any longer. She immediately went to see Tina.
"Listen," She said as she walked into Tina's room, "We need to do something about Zee loafing around like this."
Tina was brushing her hair while sitting at a vanity, and sighed as she responded, "I do not think it is such a bad thing. She is quiet, she has not been eating a month's worth of food within a few hours, and we have had a house guest for several days now and had not have to worry about her going missing due to my sister's uncontrollable appetite."
"That's the problem! You don't think things are just a little off because of that?!"
Tina giggled, setting her brush down, "I'm sure this will pass soon, if not, it is just something we will have to accept."
Zapook was growling with anger now, before she quickly stopped, smiled, and turned away, waving a hand in the air. "Fine. You're right. It has been a bit nicer her. A little boring but a bit nicer. Although..." She grins as she looks back at Tina, "God forbid something else happens while Zee's senses are off. I mean...without those instincts of hers..."
Tina sighs, and interrupts, "Fine...What is your plan?"
"Glad you asked!"

Later that day, Onima happily skipped through the house, almost making it to the balcony, before Whiplash's links trip her. With a squeal, she falls to the ground, only to see Koopling, Wolven, Yinxao, and Boem staring down at her. Gently taking a limb in each maw, The four of them grabbed Yinxao by the arms and legs and quickly pulled her down the stairs and into Zapook's room. She was dropped in the middle of the floor and left there as the four of them scattered out.
Zapook grinned from atop a swivel chair she brought from her lab below. "Nice of you to join me!"
Onima jumped to her feet, getting in a defensive stance.
Zapook blinked a few times. "...What the heck are you doing?"
"I've taken classes for defending myself! Do not take me so lightly!"
Zapook gave her a blank stare, then stands, flicking Onima on the nose. "No offense, but you couldn't fight off a lady bug if you wanted to."
Onima squealed, rubbing her nose. Then glared up at Zapook.
"Now, are you done being an idiot? Can I continue?"
Onima sat on the ground, her hands on her lap as she continues glaring up at Zapook, "Harsh words..."
"Sorry..." Zapook sighed, "But I really...really need your help."
"Oh! Is that all! Sure! You guys did let me stay here. What's up?"
"Well...You know Zee, right?"
"Oh, yeah! She's a swell girl!"
"Yeah...that's the problem. Zee's a man eater. A demon with a murderous intent toward almost anything capable of movement. A creature that usually won't hesitate to turn you into a side dish."
Onima gasped and waved her hands in the air, "Lies and slander! That's not my TV buddy!"
"Trust me...I got bite marks in places you wouldn't believe to prove it. She usually likes bunnies more than anything, but she's been extra nice to you."
"Maybe it's because of how cute I am!" Onima giggles, winking at Zapook.
Zapook stared at Onima, one eye twitching, before she sighed, "No...She had an incident where she thinks people are no longer afraid of her. She's lost her hunting instinct since then."
"Oh." Onima nodded.
"Remember that war?"
"Um...Yes. I do."
"We were trying to use that war to vent some steam and to wake Zee up. You know, get her back to her normal self. She's no longer depressed, and her personality's back, but her...well...'appetite' isn't. I want you to do everything you can to make yourself the biggest piece of bait ever."
"Why would I do that?"
"Because if you don't, I guarantee you're stay here will be miserable."
"I...I'm not following", Onima says nervously.
"Put it this way. You have two weeks to get my dear friend Zee craving rabbit tail, or I have a new test subject for the many experiments I'm working on under this house, got it?"
With a loud gulp, Onima slowly nods her head, slightly trembling.
Zapook grins and pats Onima on the head, "Good girl. Now let's stalk strategy."
"W-What if I get into serious trouble with her...?"
"Don't worry, We have someone taking care of that as we speak."

Upstairs in Tina's room, Ekone shyly knocked on Tina's door, clearing his throat a bit before the door swung open. "Um... Tina... You... You called for me didn't you?"
Tina looked about the halls, before beckoning Ekone in. "Quickly, before someone notices you."
Ekone's eyes went wide as he quickly slipped into Tina's room, closing the door behind him.
Tina sat on her bed, innocently fidgeting with her short nightgown as she slowly looked up at Ekone. "Sweety, I do believe we have a small problem with Onima's staying here."
Ekone fought to keep his eyes locked with Tina's as she continued playing with her night gown, "P-problem..?"
"Oh yes...you see...well. Come sit with me..." she smiles, patting the bed next to her.
Ekone eagerly made his way to her bed, resting on it as he looks over at her.
She sighs, "It's about Onima..."
With a disappointed look on his face, he nodded, "Oh yeah...what about her?"
"Zee may be trying to take her life as we speak..."
"But...they've been doing nothing but watching TV together..."
"Trust me sweety, I am her sister. She will try. And you...you will help me protect our new friend, correct?" She said, smiling sweetly and leaning toward Ekone, her eyelashes batting as she looked up at him innocently.
Ekone could do nothing but blush and nod, before making his way out of the room.
As she watched him leave, Tina sighed and mumbled to herself, "So much for having a quiet holiday season..."
