Still not quite there.
The war ended almost as quickly as it started. As the sides joined one another, Zee, Aussa, Tina, And Zapook, as well as those that came with them, all snuck away together without a word to each other. The four of them basically vacationed around gaia, seeing as how their original Halloween plans were ruined by the war, but none of them complained. In fact, Zee seemed somewhat relieved with just exploring with family. Though, she still seemed a little depressed by her earlier ordeal.
Several days later, the group returned home and was welcomed by a group of playful foxes. Aussa and Zapook, still hyper from their trip, started to run around, chasing and playing with the foxes. Still a little down, Zee only petted the ones that came close as she walked to the door. Tina...She dashed through the crowd and pried her door open before any of them approached her. Once they all stepped foot in the house, they spoke of their endeavors briefly, what each side of the war was like, before having a few laughs and walking off, pulling their costumes and clothes off on the way. Koopling was happy to get her costume off, while the other smaller charges slowly got back to their daily routine.
A daily rountine which was already quickly broken by Zapook screaming. Tina, Zee, and Yinxao run to Zapook's bedroom only to see her meters from her door, pointing in. Peeking in, they saw Ekone curled up on her bed. With a labored sigh, Tina went to tend to Zapook's needs while Zee walked in, lightly nudging Ekone. Yinxao decided to take her place on Zee's shoulder.
"Ekone..? Dude, this ain't your room, you need to get up."
Ekone mumbles, looking up at Zee with blood shot eyes, "I know...I know..."
Zee paused briefly before pointing and bluntly saying, "You look like hell."
"I feel like it as well...This is the first night I've actually been able to get some sleep since you guys left..."
"What?! What the hell of you been doing all this time!?"
"Entertaining a guest...I found her a few nights ago....she's was running from these strange humans with large fangs and the ability to fly."
"Ekone...those are vampires."
"Oh..."
"Where is she?"
"My room..." He points weekly before laying down again.
Zee sighs, and gets a good grip on her scaly friend before dragging him out of Zapooks room, up the stairs, and too the door of his room. The entire time, Yinxao decided to 'help' by biting Ekone's tail tip and keeping him awake so Zee could carry him easier.
Kicking open Ekone's door, Zee's eyes widened as they rested on a smaller girl with bright orange eyes, and lime green hair, brighter than Zapook's, holding a shirt up as she stood their topless. Two long lime green colored rabbit ears hung at each side of her head. The girl quickly covered herself and screamed at the top of her lungs before hiding under Ekone's bed.
Zee calmly took a few steps back after dropping Ekone, and pressed herself against the wall right outside the door.
Normally, if you see a stranger in a place you call home, your first reaction would be "Who is this person? Why are they here?"
However, Zee's first reaction to the whole situation was, '...A bunny girl...was half naked in front of me...And I didn't make any move whatsoever... I didn't even threaten to eat her...What's wrong with me...'
Ekone explained further, introducing the girl as Onima Yoshi, and stating that he had no choice but to let her stay here. The ones that attacked her had really freaked out the girl, and the foxes that gathered around the house freaked her out more.
Zee only sighed, and went to look for her sister to tell her the news, yet another was in their care. Yinxao decided to sit in Ekone's doorway and watched as this new face started to try on clothing once more. Needless to say...The presence of another girl in Tina's place didn't bother Xao Xao at all.
