Can't help it, I love arguing about nonsensical things in there (is that even a word?).
If you've spent a lot of time in there it's actually enjoyable to debate with someone. Of course you get the people who go "you have a green name, you have no opinion" which is totally bull s**t. Or the ones who direct every problem with Gaia to you, which again is bull s**t. I moderate forums, I don't have a secret relationship with the higher ups. Hell, only ever see a couple and they're the ones who're supposed to deal with us. The rest are just orange and brown names on the forums.
Who doesn't like disagreeing with someone? It's like the ED without the whole 'cite sources' thing.
Sure, you can look like an a**. But if you're afraid of looking like an a** then you shouldn't be posting in the SF. Doesn't bother me if I look like an a** in there, it's all part of the magic that is the SF.
People who don't like the SF usually write it off as a bunch of dramallama , which is true. But that doesn't bother me, as I'd rather be a dramallama than boring.
