Marcus sat atop a wall, watching Daethmourne's party below. He clapped along with the music, and watched the men and their dates dance. He sat wearing his usual priest robes, his staff firmly in his hand and he viewed the festivities, "Hmm, maybe I should have a party soon?" He asked himself, soon he spotted the House Head accompanied by a beautiful woman. He watched for a few more moments, then in less then a tenth of a second, he was back in his private quarters.
"But I do have other things to attend to," The Lord of NightHound said. He pulled a large rope that hung near his bedside. A small white dove flew from a hole in the wall, "Thank you for coming when I called Mary, you are learning quickly, now please fetch Sendron for me," The bird took off at high speed, flying along the top of the halls. Marcus sat himself down on his bed, laying his staff down. The red orb set inside the crown glowed ominously. Sendron appeared in the doorway and asked, "What do you wish Sire?" Marcus looked at Sendron, and waited, "I'm sorry, Marcus?"
"Ah yes Sendron, I am glad you have come, I have something that requires our attention," Marcus said, "I have found where the Tome is!"
"Really? You have? Why that's wonderful! When did you find out?" The old man asked, he didn't expect him to find it so quickly.
"A week ago." Marcus replied.
"What? But why do you just now tell me that you've found it?"
"Because, it is inside an ancient libary, buried underneath Daethmourne."
Sendron was shocked, House Daethmourne was a mystery to everyone, besides all of the House Heads, whom must contact each other from time to time. No one really knew what whent on in there. Nothing went in, nothing ever came out. "So is there a way inside without entering the estate?" Sendron asked.
"No," Marcus chimed gleefully, "regretfully not!"
"Then how can we get in to retrieve the book?"
Marcus look puzzled suddenly, as if the answer was staring at him, which it was. "We ask."
