In the night
thats cold and dark
I can see his face
even when I'm asleep

The nightmares
the flashbacks
all suddenly come back to me

I dont know why
but I cant take it
not again, even if its a memory

Visions...
Voices...
Screaming...
Pain...
Force...

Is it because Ive let my heart wander?

Because Im letting my heart put down its protective barrier and let you in?

Is that why this resurfaced?

Is that why Im scared?

Do I believe that this will end up like the last time?

No....
It cant be....

Its different this time...

You care about me
You protect me
You go out of your way to see me smile

You might even...love me...

But in any case...
Just in case....

I have to be ready...
Because it does feel like deja vu all over again....
