“Why I am Who I am” My heart races My emotions causing so much pain Words used against me Knowledge against my vulnerability My feelings worsen as she speaks to me Words hateful to me and everyone like me I don’t know what to do anymore I feel like everyone’s against me Hating me more and more I wish I was strong But I get weaker and weaker every day I never knew how much I was hated By everyone No one knows me Not really My soul cries alone As it fades without a heart She doesn’t know me Or how I truly feel She just says things To put me down To get rid of me Not knowing why I can’t wait to leave Start over Like always By Lauren

A painful memory
I wish I had forgotten
The blood dripping and oozing from my heart
The black smoke falling from my soul
My heartbeat slows down in my chest
Not knowing what to do anymore
I cannot withstand this heartache
What will become of me?

hmm nice poem smile i liked it. i have felt like that many times, i have felt like i was just fading away and no one cared to stop me. I feel like no one knows who i truly am , nor do they care about a soul like me. i have felt everything and more. keep up your poetry if that is your ambition and talent.
