the first way people believe vampires occur is by by by virtue of a persons birth. people born with cauls, especially a red one, are thought to become vampires either during life or after they die. Also, children born with teeth or green fur. they are also thought to become vampires. Some vampires can sire offspring by drinking a persons blood three times, or by the vampire willing someone to become a vampire. The most common ways for a person to become a vampire is after they die. Some cultures believe that if an animal jumps over a corpse, the person will become a vampire. Other times, vampires are caused by improper burial.
