Requiem In Red
Keep Your Hand At the Level of Your Eyes
I'm back from open house. We'll get to that later though.

I really never noticed just who out of place I feel - at work, at school, at parties. It's just like I dont belong. People at work that I've known for a year hang around those who've just started. I'm never including in whatever they talk about, and most of the time they ignore me when I inquire. I no longer feel comfortable with people at school. At parties I feel as if I just dont belong, although I know every one (or nearly) there. Perhaps this is more of that 'finding yourself' thing. I only ever feel I belong with one person. Perhaps two. Yes..two. It's like I'm outside staring in.

Anyway, as I said, I got my schedule. They cancelled my Applied Design course, and put me in some HTML/Web page design class. Instead of Visual Arts II, they stuck me in Ceramics. Now, I've no problem with Ceramics - I just dont want to take it. However I did get Painting I, so that's a plus. Turns out he also lives around the corner from me.

As for my main courses, I already dont like American History. American Lit I can handle....I just dont like American History.

:Hugs her Erik plushie tight:

Well, you know you always belong with me, right? I try to steer away from parties... especially Katherine's...

Ooh... those sound like good classes! And A. History... it's not so bad, but it's really not that interesting. I mean, it's mainly stuff that you've heard all you life anyhow, you know?

Well I said two didnt I? ^_~

That t'was my point - I'd MUCH rather study European history again. All the good stuff happened over there! 3nodding

I agree. Any history but American history for me. I mean, I know most all of it already...

When it comes to feeling out of place, I know exactly how you feel. I hope it's not part of that " finding yourself " thing, though, 'cause I thought I already found myself...This kind of thing gets complicated.

And Amer. history does have a tendency to get dull, doesn't it? After I've heard it for so long, it's just not that interesting to me anymore. sweatdrop
Oh, well.

I wish I could take classes like that! Mine aren't going to be very interesting, I'm afraid.
