Why is it that when something doesn't happen on this site, there are always a few people who insist that this is because Gaia is working on the battle system. Houses aren't getting fixed? That's because they're busy with the battle system! Gaia missed a free-item-grab-for-everyone day? They're busy working on the battle system, you guys!

Newsflash: Gaia has been planning that battle system for probably as long as they've been around. We have known of its intended existance for years. There is no reason that they're suddenly going to sacrifice other things to work on it. The day I believe that a battle system will exist is the day that they announce it. And that day is not going to be anytime soon, regardless of what you want to tell yourself.

Also, I don't know why people complain about Christmas and Easter being religious holidays. Yes, they're holidays celebrated by mainstream Christians, but...
1. Halloween is the same thing as Christmas/Easter... an originally pagan holiday claimed by the Christian religion which has, in modern times, been celebrated in a secular way with lots and lots of candy. The only difference is that nobody complains about Halloween since American Christians don't celebrate it with their religion.
2. St. Patrick's Day and Valentine's day are also religious holidays and, unlike Christmas/Easter, are actually Christian in origin. And yet, nobody complains except bitter single people on V-Day.

So if you're going to b***h about widely-celebrated religious holidays, you'd better complain about all religions and not just that-one-religion-I-don't-like.
