Lita casually stuck out her foot in the hallway, tripping the next student who walked by. "Bullseye!" mouthed Friday, her best friend and partner-in-crime. The student got up, gave Lita an irritable look, and stalked off down the hall. Friday flipped her long, black hair and leaned against her locker. "Discussion in English today. Mrs. Bornell won't know what hit her." Lita nodded. "She's all yours. I have a chemistry test. Hands-on." She raised an eyebrow. " If you hear an explosion, we're getting pizza tonight." The two of them lived alone wiht Lita's brother, a junk artist. Every failed test, ruined shirt or broken cell phone was quickly replaced good as new so he could use the old one for his 'Great American Masterpiece'. As they talked, Taylor, the prettiest and most popular girl in school came walking down with a group of admiring girls. Lita casually stuck out one red, lace-less sneaker while Friday took a bottle of water from her locker, opened it, and dumped it on the ground. Taylor tripped and slid through the water, drenching her bright purple top and dark tan capris. "Ohmigosh!" shrieked Lita, faking sympathy. "Are you okay?" The head cheerleader got up, brushed herself off, and glared at Lita as if she were merely a slug. Then she left, with her fan club running to catch up.
