Q&A Annoyances
I'm a Q&A person. Yeah, whatever. Everyone has somewhere on Gaia that they like to visit.

Well, when you've been doing something for long enough (And I think nearly 2 years of Q&Aing is long enough) you start to notice some little things that bug you.

This is where I'm going to list them so I can list them so I can get it out my system.

People who go "PM me the answer"
If you can't be bothered to stick around for an answer, I sure as hell am not going to PM you it. I'm not your secretary. I will answer in your thread.

People who don't know the answer, so post saying so
"I don't know" is not a response. It is spam, and annoying when you post in a thread. If you don't know, then don't post. Read the Q&A rules.

People who answer already answered threads
There is a bit of leeway here, since you do find many of you answer the same thread at once. That's fine. That happens.
I'm talking about when it has been 30 minutes since the last post, and the thread was answered, and then some person comes in and repeats the same things already said.
The thread was answered!

People who demand things
I help people because I like doing it. There is nothing in return for me. So when I see threads that demand an instant answer, I usually avoid them.
I don't like rudeness, especially when you're wanting help from me.
You don't demand, you ask nicely. You'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

People who suck at typing
This one is all over, and I know I'm not the world's most perfect typer. But I do try, and my posts are readable.
But there are those who just type as quickly as they can, not caring about spelling or punctuation.
If you're going to post a question/answer, take the extra 30 seconds to write out the post.

This isn't text messaging. You have a full keyboard there to use.

People who ask for donations
I donate. I recently gave away 4 letters from the past few months. But if you ask, I'm saying no.

I have more!
<span id="test10614553">. . .</span><br/><div id="post10614553" style="display:none; margin-right:75px;">
People who repeat threads
Usually this isn't a problem.

But say... The PM system is being worked on, so people are getting "The PM system is being worked upon" messages.

I don't mind people asking, but when there are already 10 threads at the top of the damn forum, it gets annoying when someone thinks "Oh look, 10 threads about the same problem I'm having. I'll go and add another one, I'm sure I've got a completely different question".

People who massively quote
Quoting is fine, but when you post is more quote than post, it gets annoying. Learn to cut out the previous quotes.

People who don't have common sense
"The PM system is down for maintenance" means "The PM system is down for maintenance". The Q&A do not get any additional information about these things.

People who say "I've been hacked" when they gave out their password
Gaia has hundreds (Well, many anyway) of warnings around. Hell, when you sign up your own avatar tells you "NEVER GIVE YOUR PASSWORD TO ANYONE CLAIMING TO BE A MOD/ADMIN".
Then people go "I've been hacked" when they really gave out their password to try to (Become a mod, Get free items, Get free gold, Fix their account...)

People with no common sense 2.0
If something sounds too good to be true then it probably is
If someone is offering you a Angelic Sash in a giftbox in exchange for your Demonic Anklets, THINK! It sounds too good to be true.
Now, why would they insist it being in a giftbox? Maybe because you can't see it until the trade is complete, and it is too late?

Don't be silly!</div>
