Well, here I go with my first writing post. For a first, I'm going to write a couplet, or two-line poem. Nothing interesting has happened to me lately, so this all I got.
The grasp of the unknown, the fear and the terror,
The terrible menace, an evil bliss tether.
The terrible menace, an evil bliss tether.
Jack London's White Fang referred to the 'unknown' as being the stuff that fear, terror, and anonomity compose. Basically, it is fear itself, though not just fear, but fear of what is not known. In my couplet, by "The grasp of the unknown," I am referring to when something scary happens and you don't know what it is. by "an evil bliss tether," I imply that the grasp of the unknown is like a trap that traps happiness. (I know, that souned odd, but...) Well.. anything?
