Didn't realize pain could
hurt just under the skin.
My mind traveled to moments of time you had cracked my shell,
pulling me out.
It was bliss,
Wings of comfort enfold me,
Kisses of affection healing me,
Words dancing over my being like goosebumps.
Eyes intoxicating me,
a drug,
as you trailed them over me.
Defenseless with you?
My mistake.
I trailed a pen across my waterline,
Colored them emotionless.
It matched my innards.
You captured my colors,
enveloped them in your heart,
and stole them away.
The only emotions i have
to keep myself alive:
Black and White.
