• The Child;
    Fall of Darkness, Part 1

    Mala and Cypheor were resting in their Den when a rather large robin perched on the edge of the cave. “Hello Bosco.” Said Cypheor in a greeting way. Bosco the robin reaching almost 1-foot highs appearance didn’t match his personality for the robins of this area. He was kind, caring, with an average high-pitched voice; and a messenger for Cypheoria’s important people.
    “Hi Cypheor, good evening Miss Mala. We got HUGE news, Seefyorr is Terrorizing Flaria and is planning capture!” Cypheor leaped up “We must evacuate Flaria and Frimidor. Once that’s done we can drive Seefyorr towards Frimidor, better there than Flaria.” “Good idea!” said Bosco. At that they set off. Mala, left in the cave, set off herself. She really shouldn’t be flying in her state. She landed at a yellow house and knocked on the door.
    “Mala! Come in please.” Said Nasha, one of Mala’s reptilian friends. “Nasha, I have to tell Cypheor it’ll be time soon.”
    “About the baby? I hope you know what your doing. Come have some tea.” Nasha said. After a cup of tea Mala flew back to the den to wait for Cypheor.

    “Everyone load your carts and head for Ferakia,” yelled Cypheor already finishing off evacuating Frimidor. After a short instruction to a slow family he set off to see Seefyorr. It wasn’t a long trip from Frimidor to Flaria; he was there fast enough.
    He soared over Flaria and in a moment spotted Seefyorr. He was hard to miss, black flames eroding from his gullet and bursting out his jaws. “CYPHEOR!” Erupted the black beast “THIS IS MY TURF! NOW SCRAM!”
    “Why take this village when you can take an empty Frimidor? Oh-No!” he said in mock clumsiness. Seefyorr grinned he bought it! “GOOD IDEA!” and at that, he vanished. “Teleportation to anywhere he’s invited, he’s getting stronger.” Thought Cypheor.
    After deciding his work was done he flew home to an awaiting Mala. “Your back!” Mala chirped.
    “Yes, and mostly unharmed.” Mala paused nervously. “Cypheor, you’re going to be a father.” Mala said in a small voice. “Excuse me?” said Cypheor a little surprised. “I’m sorry I-“ “THAT’S GREAT!” Cypheor roared! “We need a name-is it a boy or girl?” “I think a boy, he kicks a lot and sometimes nibbles!” Mala said Cheerfully. “What about, Lucian?” questioned Cypheor “Lucian’s good. WAIT I got it! Hetae!” Mala chimed. “Hetae, perfect. That’ll be his name.”

    =1 MONTH LATER=

    “Sir, it’s a boy,” claimed the medicine apprentice as she handed the child to Cypheor. “My son. Hetae, You’ll take my place someday.”
