Many years ago Vincent picked up a odd child. He couldn't explain what had compelled him to do so. Vincent had always lived alone and had assumed he would always be that way. He just guessed that the boy's miss-matched eyes drew him in somehow. The boy told him his name was "Takimaru".
Vincent hated him. Vincent loved him. The shy child seemed to always have a kind word and a gentle touch to calm the older man's diseased mind. He tried so hard to hide his "condition", his profession from Takimaru. He always hid the bodies and cleaned the blood, just like he was suposed to.
Too soon it seemed, the boy had grown into a beautiful teen. He was so kind to everyone but, was never cured from his muteness towards anyone else. He had come home earlier than Vincent had anticipated and he clearly saw the man's dead body laid out on the floor. "Takimaru...." The older man was terrified by the possiblity of killing the one he cared about. "Please....Don't scream...." Vincent thought, panic rising in him. Takimaru looked back at him with a blank expression as he left the room to return with a damp cloth. He began to carefully wipe the older man's hands clean of blood.
".....You knew, didn't you?" The brown haired boy flinched at the words but nodded. "But you're not afraid? " Takimaru's brown and blue eyes never left Vincent's. "Should I be?" The dark haired man smiled and pulled the other close, the blood on his bare chest staining Taki's white shirt. He could feel the blood rush to his face at the contact.
"You're too trusting, child. I can kill you." He kissed the boy's blushing cheek. "I know that....But, you shouldn't be afraid of me." The black haired man's eyes widened as he connfessed a dark secret that he wouldn't even admit to himself.
