This is the start of my story so far. its really not even close to done, but its our journy and our adventure so far...heehee...at the beginning....





“Our Life…..”

It was the night of December 24, 2006 at the Guanzon’s house for a end of the year party, when it all started. When I say all, I mean, my whole life, and even Cielo’s life. It all started with one text, one thought, one question, and a simple answer. “Can we start over? Can we be friends? Lets start bran new… Anyways, Hi I’m Gill.” Those were the words that touched her heart. It opened up a new person.

Before this party, Cielo, wouldn’t talk to anyone and she would stick to herself and her sisters. Cielo, would always be mean to me and my buddy’s at church. She would make fun of us, she would tease us, make us look bad, and even bug us when we were already stressed. Cielo, wasn’t a very nice person. She would love hurting people’s feelings. It was like her hobby. She would also, keep her cousins away from my group. My group was just Mark, my cousin Josh, and me. All of the Binhi, were scared of Cielo. None of us wanted to talk to her, because we were scared of getting teased.

But on the night of the party, I didn’t let any of that phase me. I didn’t let the past, stop me from talking to her. As I walked up to her, and asked her for her phone number, my heart was racing with fear. Even though Cielo and I only talked through text, it was a good start. When I got her number, I ran to Josh and Mark, and told them about how I got her number and how I was planning to text her. They were shocked! Surprised that she was willing to talk. In her mind, she didn’t want to give me her number. But God worked his magic, and told her to give it to me.
As Josh and Mark played DDR, I sat down on the couch in the garage, and started my first text to Cielo. I let all my fear of Cielo, fade away, while I was pushing the buttons that wrote my feelings. This text said, “Can we start over? Can we be friends? Lets start bran new… Anyways, Hi I’m Gill.” As I watched the text send, I looked up at the sealing, and thought, “I hope I’m doing the right thing.” I never really paid attention to her when she got the text because she was inside the house looking for a song to sing, while I was in the garage watching all the little kids play DDR. When it was my turn to play DDR, I stood on the pad like a dummy because I wasn’t really good at the game yet. While dancing to the song Doll on DDR, I felt this weird feeling on my leg. Like it was vibrating or something. Then I realized that it was my phone. I jumped of the DDR pad and let Josh play for me. When I looked at the phone, it was a text from Cielo. The very first text I’ve ever got from her. All it said was, “Okay, Hi my name is Cielo.” I walked in the inside of the house to the kitchen to see if it was really her texting, and it was. She was sitting with a book of songs in her lap and her phone in her hands. I couldn’t help but smile at her, even though she wasn’t even looking at me. As I walked back inside the garage, she was going in the garage too with her sister Ciara. They sat at the end of the room, with their little purses on their laps. So I sat on the couch, right behind the DDR game. I looked at Cielo, and started up a new text, asking her how life is and how old is she and when’s her birthday and just simple questions like that. She answered with honesty and truth. Every text I would send her, she would send me a text back, asking questions and answering the questions I asked her. When Josh and Mark, finally got off DDR, Ciara and Cielo hopped on. Every time Cielo, would play a new game, I couldn’t stop staring because of how cute it was. The way she flowed with the arrows on DDR, was cute. Even though her sister was better than her, I still thought Cielo was cuter. When they were done playing, Josh and I started playing. While I was playing, Cielo would keep texting me and I can hear her in the back of me, giggling because I wasn’t that good at DDR. I was looking like a fool in front of her. I would turn around and give her a mean funny face just to see her beautiful smile.

After awhile, I got tired of playing DDR so I went inside where all the computers were. Her cousin Kevin was in the room looking up some stuff on youtube, so I sat there with him watching whatever he was watching. I don’t really remember what we were watching but it was funny. While Kevin and I were watching, Josh and Mark came inside and started watching with us. We were watching some people do the C-Walk. During the little movie clip, Cielo was texting me, asking me questions about my life and I told her how it was going and I told her my problems with my girlfriend and stuff like that. At the time, I had a girlfriend, but we were fight a lot and we were already close to breaking up. Cielo would just be supportive about everything. She was being nice, which shocked all of us. She was letting her cousins hang out with us. It was really nice to know that my old enemy was trying her hardest to support me and to make me happy. All through the night, one question stood out the most and had me guessing all night. “Do you like anyone Cielo? And if you do, who is it?” She had me guessing and guessing and guessing, but she just wouldn’t tell me. So I just kept asking for hints. Then she came into the computer room, to see what’s up. When she came, I couldn’t help but smile at her. I don’t think she seen me because she was always turned away from me. Cielo seemed so much happier, and she became nicer to everyone, her cousins, Mark, Josh, Me, the Binhi’s, everyone.

The night was finally coming to an end. Everyone was half asleep because of how tired they were from playing so much DDR. Even though we were still tired, it didn’t stop us from texting each other. Everyone was getting ready to go home, so I started packing up and I got ready too. Plus my parents were already saying “Let’s Go.” So it was time for me to go, so I walked around the house giving all the church members handshakes and hugs. When I walked up to Cielo, all I did, was give her a big smile and said bye. She smiled back and says bye. I walked out the door with a big smile on my face and started heading to the car. When I got in the car and started heading home, I got another text from Cielo saying, “I still won’t tell you who it is…” When I texted back, I told her that eventually she’ll tell me. The whole night, we stayed up texting, and still I left guessing who it was. We finally started falling asleep, so we decided to wake each other up with a text the next morning. Then we both fell asleep.
