That's a secret? well, I really didn't want to have a username like Inuyashagirl20349723-50721-050248-01238408157120735-07!!~!@437-0. So I was looking for the japanese word for something that described me. Ajina, it turns out, means, "clever, strange, witty," and things like that.

Good morning, everyone. Yes, I'm fully aware that I'm posting this at night, but I don't care. I like "good morning" a lot better than "good evening."
*deep breath* Okay, I've been meaning to post this for awhile now, I just haven't had the right chance... The reason I was so out of it for about two months was because my mother died. She had had cancer for a long time (over 10 years), and it didn't get her. It was kind of ironic, I guess... Though, my dad says it's ironic because it wasn't ironic enough... That's the kind of person she was.
Anyway, her chemo was weakening her immune system to the point where some of her cells were going berserk and turning into necrotizing fasciitis, otherwise known as a flesh-eating bacteria.
Anyway, she had been throwing up all that day, so her friends (whom she was with at the time)took her to the hospital to be looked at, and somehow they determined that there was some dead tissue floating around in her intestines. Now, I don't know if you knew this, but apparently, that's bad for you. So they were going to open her up, scoop it out, and close her up again. Unfortunately, the cause was not what they had hoped it would be (just the skin dying and falling off, perhaps due to the cancer or the chemo.
Anyway, when they opened her up, they discovered that she had necrotiizing fasciitis which had already eaten most of her abdomenal wall. There was nothing they could do, so they closed her up again and notified next of kin (my family). They had put her to sleep for the surgery, and she didn't wake up. The last time I saw my mother was when she was lying in a hospital bed, asleep, her eyes taped shut, and hooked up to breathing machines and the like. Before the surgery, my mom had signed a DNR (Do Not Resucitate), so technically the doctors were going against her wishes by keeping her on the machines for as long as they did.
Anyway, a bunch of close family friends came to say goodbye, and after a few hours of that, they pulled the plugs.... But she started breathing on her own! And continued to breath on her own for 5 hours! We think she was waiting for my sister (who had been camping about 2 hours away, and arrived shortly before). When Maggie got there, Mom seemed to relax, I guess because she knew her 4 kids and husband were sitting right there with her, so she'd be okay.
