"It'll be fine, we'll just pop in and have a look around 'kay?" Talen asked Issac, his mind had been made up already so Issac assumed he had no say anyway. He had a bad feeling about this though, sneaking onto Lord territory was a bad idea no matter how you looked at it.
"Well if you're sure it hit here." He replied, earlier that day Talen had spotted something crashing down in the Lord territory, the damage in the area must've been huge as everything around seemed to be destroyed in one way or another once they got through the fence. "Is this...What a Lord territory looks like?...It's all..." Since Lord territories are off limits to civilians, not many knew what the inside of the Lord territory looked like. They could look through the fence but not much could be seen from there.
They began searching the rubble for some sign of what had fell, Talen seemed happy just searching for whatever it was as if they'd never get caught. But Issac wasn't so sure, Lord territory was rumored to be a very dangerous place, he often stopped to listen out for any movement in the surroundings.
"Hey look, what's that?" Talen suddenly called out, he ran over to something that seemed to be sitting against a wall in the rubble. It moved ever so slightly which indicated life. "Hey there's someone there!" Talen pointed out.
"Someone coming?" Issac was quick to turn in the direction Talen had ran and removed his pistol from it's holster, he was jumpy because if they had been caught then that would be it for them, they'd be killed where they stood. Once he noticed the person lying against the fragment of wall he calmed down. "Don't scare me like that." He said walking over to where Talen had run to.
"Hey, hey kid, can you hear me?" Talen called out to the person whilst kneeling quite close to them. Issac didn't like how Talen could just run up and make noise like that, it was possible that this guy was a resident of the Lord territory and could cause some trouble for them if he woke. He stood nearby and looked at the person, sure enough it was a kid, not too old too it looked. Just who in the world was he and why had they not found anyone else around here, not even corpses of those who would've been around during the crash. Just this guy, what was his story?
"I think he's waking up." Talen said as the unnamed kid began to move, Issac stood listening out for any movement in the surrounding area, he was uneasy just being there. "Hey kid, can you hear me? Can you open your eyes?"
From Issacs vantage point the kid remained motionless, but it was clear the guy was still alive, did he survive when the object impacted on the ground and caused this? Was he the only one who survived? Then where were the bodies of the others? It made no sense.
Suddenly the kids eyes opened, Issac glanced over for a moment before his eyes snapped back to the surroundings. He'd seen something, a little movement of some kind, he hadn't been able to make out just what it had been.
"Hey there, need a hand?" Talen continued to speak to the unnamed child, seemingly unware of their present situation, Issac just couldn't understand how he could be so happy and excited bearing in mind where they were.
"Who are...You?" The kid had replied, his voice clearly a boys even if his appearance made it hard to tell, he was covered in dirt so it was really hard to tell.
"Me? My names Talen, this guy here is my brother Issac." Issac lowered his head slightly at the sound of his name, Talen had just given his name out to a stranger, someone they just found lying here. "What's your name?" Talen continued, still seeming to be unknowing of the situation, it was really starting to agrivate Issac on how careless he was being infront of this guy,
"I don't...Remember." How could this kid not remember his own name? Something about this really was bad, either this guy was suffering from amnesia or he was tricking them into thinking he'd forgotten. But what would he gain from this? They were already helping him without wanting return.
"You don't know? You're a strange kid, how can you not remember your own name?" Issac was getting agrivated again. Huh? What was that? Issac noticed movement again, this was no time to be hanging around here anymore.
"Hey Talen, there's no time for chatter. If we don't get out of here they'll find us." Issac called to Talen, it may have been too late, with the amount of movement they may have already found them. It was best to leave right now.
"Okay brother, just give me a moment." Talen replied, but just as he did the kids eyes began to close and loose focus. Issac stopped looking out at the surroundings, there was no longer any more point to it. He quickly made his way over to where Talen and the kid were. "Hey, are you ok?" Talen asked the kid just before he drifted off again.
"There's no time Talen, we have to go now." Issac said to Talen whilst pulling the shoulder of Talens left sleeve. "Come on."
"He's an injured child, we can't just leave him." Talen replied, it seemed the situation had sunk in if Talen was thinking like that. Damn it, had he realised the situation the whole time or was this just a bit of bad timing.
"We have to, he'll slow us down." Issac replied, he was now overly conserned that they were about to be attacked, he had no intention of himself of Talen dying.
"Would you leave me if I were him?" Talen replied to Issac, the word hit hard. Ofcourse he wouldn't, they were closer then anyone. He froze for a while, the words Damn it, why'd you ask something like that stuck in his mind. He didn't know what to do, if they stayed here they could die.
Issac bit his lip and clentched his left fist, he then let go. "Fine then, help me lift him up."
