'So, that giftbox you've got on the MP, can I give you 500 less than you're selling it for and if I get something rubbish, can I get a refund?'

Arrrrrrrrrrrrgh !!!!!!

So I'm doing some trading on the Market Place and I'm selling a Brown Magical Giftbox for 3950 Gold, which was a pretty good price for it. I get a pm from someone I've never heard of asking if I'll sell it to them for 3400! Well, if I'd wanted to sell it for that much I'd have put it on at that price!
Anyway, I have a look on the search list and see just one cheaper than mine for 3500, and ask him why he doesn't buy that one. He asks me who's selling it and I tell him to do a search. I even tell him I'd give him 100 Gold to make up the difference because I didn't want to sell mine for that price (very generous I thought!)
The guy pm's me back telling me the 3500 one has expired, and asks me if he can have mine now. In the end I let him have it for 3400. Straight away he puts it back on the market for 3600! Obviously, I wasn't too impressed with this and pm'd him to let him no. Strangely, I didn't receive a reply ...

Here's the twist. The guy was so busy trying to get the box from me at the time that he didn't notice another one arrive on the Market Place for 3000 Gold. I snapped this one up and this was the one I sold to him, pocketing me 400 Gold! Two minutes later, the one he had tried to get me to lower the price on also sold at it's price of 3950!

Should I have been annoyed by his tactics?
Should I feel guilty I then sold him the box at a profit?
Has justice been served?

So, the alien event has got me back into towns.

I've had some fun in them I must say, plus I've seen and been scanned by a saucer at Barton 001001 and I've been under the shadow of the saucer at Barton 001000.

Looking forward to the rest of the Halloween event.

OK - here's the deal - DON'T BEG FROM ME !!!

Now that i've got that off my chest, I'll explain ...

So, I've been doing some trading in the Market Place and it says that I've made 158,758 Gold in transactions. The thing is this - I DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY!!

How can that be possible you ask? Well, think of it this way :

I spend 10,000 on an item in the Market Place to sell it on again for a small profit, let's say 300 Gold. OK, so when it says I've made 158,000, it doesn't take into acount the fact that I've spent loads of money buying the stuff to sell! In fact if I make 300 Gold on every item I buy, it means I've actually only made 4740 Gold.

If you don't believe me, here's how you can work it out -

300G profit / 10000G Outlay = 0.03% Profit.

0.03% Profit x 158,000G = 4740G

So, as you can see, I never had 158,000 Gold. I just keep buying stuff to sell it again which makes it look like I have loads of Gold!

Unfortunately, this means I cannot afford to give you free stuff or donations because I just don't have the money.

Hope this clarifies matters confused

Where do people get off slagging people for wearing inexpensive clothes in the Avi Arena. Just because peope can't shove a load of expensive crap all over their Avi doesn't mean they're worthless as a person. At least the're being creative and not just showing off their wealth.

I've made it my rule now to make a comment every time someone mentions starter clothes, sets and cheap items. Anyone who does wear these will automatically get a 10/10 from me from now on just to make up for the other idiots voting them down. Conversely, anyone who enters an avi overloaded with donation items just to show off or mentions being better than 'n00bs' in their comments box will automatically get a 1 and a lashing from my tongue ...

I ask all good Gaians to join me in this mission !
