Car which holds the hand of death Take from me my final breathe. End my pain I no longer want to bear Bid my soul into the frosty air Hide the tale of misery and glee Let sneak upon the watching tree A man sits and waits For my soul, his to take. A smile so warm yet wickedly sly Gentle storms of blue danced in his eyes "Come, your fate awaits I'll take you through those bejeweled gates," His name unknown, his intentions clear I run into the night just as the deer. "Don't run, don't hide, don't avoid this place! I have lived long enough without your face!" " Without my face?" how could that be? "How in God's name do you know me?" He stood there silent disappointment filled his face "How have you forgotten me while I was in this place?" "Heartless I am, and purposeful I be. I am afraid of you and me. You eyes are painful, not graceful to thee Please spare my soul! And don't hinder my glee!" "Afraid? This was never familiar with you." "Time has changed me and you too. You never cared back then; why now? How do I peak your interest ,how?" A smile crossed upon his face. "You haven't forgotten," a grimace replaced. "My love for you has never changed, I pulled away, counting my days." He grew closer I drew back the same But I froze when he uttered my very name. "I love you, and in eternity I spent Waiting for the day that God would bring you hence." Again he came closed but now taking my arm I punched him, he held firm yet he meant no harm. Awake and saddened, no longer ignorant. I wept and cried, his time here spent.
