The most bitchin'-est concert that ever did undergo!!!
Ho'snap!

Said friend of mine from last week, is in a band, riiiiiight? Right!
And so, we decided, since he was in this band, and I was for sure going to their performace, seeing as I'm their Number One Fan/Sometimes Roadie/Publicist/Potential Lyricist. Anyways, I convinvced my mom to let me spend most of the day with him, and the performance wasn't until 7, so I went with him at 1, and we had loads of fun!
(He gave me my christmas present, he got me a German Dictionary!!!<3)
I helped him decorate their christmas tree, we listened Audioslave, We sat on his bunk and talked for like and hour and a half.
We had a lot of flippin' fun.
Anyways, we load up the Jeep and go, get there, set up, they play a song, whatever... I'm the only one there! I felt so guilty, I thought for sure, for SURE that I was going to have to sit alone, and feel like a TERRIBLE publicist, but, I felt better. Heather showed up, then two chicks from the next town, then Adrian! I was really excited to see Adrian.
Either way, they were AWESOME. A lot of times, my friend will say that their band sucks, and that they are horrible, but I sit and listen and am blown away. And I'm not just saying that as a friend with a biased opinion, they are fricking GOOD. So, next time, we know, We must do more extensive advertising. Stick posters on other people's lockers. On their Dogs. On their faces. On their children.
It was SUCH a good time, though, even though only 5 people showed up.

In the end, the people don't matter, the band does! they even asked me if I would be mad if they didn't play 'Otherside' (Chili Peppers, for the record.) I said yes, so they mwde sure to play it. I of course, sang along, as only a true fan would. razz

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today is just one of those days, where you get up, get out of bed, declare it a good day, and then fall down the stairs.

I said 'Today is going to be an awesome day.' to two people, before I even got to school.

Oh how I was wrong.

Really.

I've told my mom aout the possibility of me going to a friends house this weekend. I SAID 'Friday, possibly, but saturday if not.'

Somehow, my mom seemed to have only caught the FRIDAY part, despite the at least 3 times I tacked on the OR SATURDAY part. I said if it was friday, and wasn't saturday, I would stay home and make candy. Somehow, she only managed to catch the 'Stay home and make candy on Saturday.' part. Now, I have been good (as in behaving) for the past week, because I knew that I was probably going to go to said friend's house. Of course, it AGGRIVATES me so damn BAD that no matter HOW GOOD you are or HOW WELL you behave, there will be three things you do wong, three TINY tiny things, and your parents will forget completely about the rest of the time you were good and only think of the three tiny tiny little things you did. Every time, without fail, it happens to me.

Today, the friend told me that their schedule was full up.

Now, today started out as a good day, but after lunch things just kinda....Well, to put it mildly my day kind of shat all over itself from there. I was in the hallway, and one of my teachers told me that I was failing two of my classes. Now this was a bad situation made worse by the fact that I made an idiot out of myself at lunch, and by the fact that a friend who I am continuously competetive with was right behind me. When we get to our next class, she says in a sarcastic tone: "Naughty, naughty!" I told her where to put it, to put it frankly.

So then in last hour, one of the classes I was failing, I was almost crying... Well, I pretty much was crying, but I had my hair in front of my face, so one couldn't see that.

Tonight, I come home, and I cry. I just cry.

So later, I'm sitting on the computer, mom comes in and tells me to move, (which was not necessary, she could have reached around me and sat at the table) and I'm hesitant to move, but I do.

Then, the friend who said their schedule was full up messages me and says that plans've changed, and that tomorrow at 1:00 would be fine. That makes me feel a lot better.

So I go out to ask my mom, and she pretty much screams at me for not moving when she asked me to, and I'm almost in tears, and I ask her, and she says 'But you never said ANYTHING about tomorrow! You only said friday, and that tomorrow you'd stay home and make candy!" But ah, that is not what I said. I tried to defend that, saying that I did, and listed times that I did, but mom only said that I said ONLY friday, to which she had, of course, her husband back her up.

Then she points out that Oh, I've been just SO naughty, and that I forgot to take my medecine 3 times this week after school! Okay, FINE. Just ignore all the times I've been good this week, and focus in on me not moving out of the chair, and me not taking my medecine. Oh yes, that's the solution.

And so, the bottom line is:

AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Le Gasp! New poem and....RIP my Offspring tape.
So, Like, Gaspethly, I have written a poem for the first time in forver. And par suggestion of someone, I decided to put it up here.

Patience

The days go by now much too fast
Try as I may, they just won’t last
I want to spend each day with you
And dread each time I say “Adieu!”
I try to pin down the calendar, but it doesn’t work, of course
I try to scream at time to stop, but it seems I’m hoarse
It’s funny how you wish time past and then it really goes
But by then you want the opposite of the wish that you had chose
I now smash each clock I see
So the time is quite a mystery
But it’s alright, ‘cause then I don’t know
How long it is ‘till you have to go
Nothing’s right with time at all
It ignores me well, as I recall
There is naught more wicked than a clock
It’s blatant lies a load of crock
I simply hate that second hand
It’s a fury you wouldn’t understand
I loathe how that sundial glares at me
It’s pure evil, don’t you see
I take your clock down of the wall
Throw it off a building, and watch it fall
As you watch me destroy these clocks, you ask me what is wrong
“If I don’t make time stop right now, you’ll be gone for far too long.”

And... Well... I am sad to have to have this be true, but the tape player I was so enthused about....

WAS EVIL!.

So, I was sitting on my bed, keying away on my typewriter, happily listening to Offspring...

AND THEN IT HAPPENED

♫Hey, heyyyyy come on and playyyeeeourggg........♫
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!" I cried aloud. (I really did)
I was quick to press the stop button, frantically opening the player, checking to see how bad the damage was.
It was

BAD.

VERY BAD.

I gently tried to get the tape untagled from the wheel inside the player. A tear dripped down my cheek. I knew it was hopeless. As I pulled on the brown innards of the tape, I saw. It. Had. RIPPED. I knew my worst fears had been realized. I took the tape out, gently wrapping the innards around it. I tossed it in my garbage can...

Before bending down and taking it out. I couldn't throw it away. I gingerly put it back in it's case, and the case back on my shelf.

I then stared back...at the face of..

THE MENACE

I picked up the tape player... And I ripped the face off of it, pulled some wires out, yanked out a spring, snapped off the back, tugged out a band, jammed up the wheel, dislodged the buttons, and threw the damn thing at the wall.

Never again will it break someone's favorite tape.

NEVER AGAIN!

I sat on my bed, and sobbed lightly, picking up my teddy bear and hugging it.

In memory, I ate a whole bunch of candy, and watched the other half of Terminator 2.

Hooray for various random things.
So, mom and I went to Barron yesterday,we Deposited money at the bank, and then we went out into the country and went to the Mennanite store! It was nice, we got yeast and bread mix and muffin mix, and some cute little fall sprinkles, and a tiny vial of grape flavoring for when I make candy again. When we came home, I called Heather and told her to come over and make cookies. so she did, and we made cookies, and we put sprinkles on them. They sucked. They were really hard, and the frosting tasted nasty because we made it. (Not BECAUSE we made it, but because the butter we put in it tasted god-awful because butter absorbs scents and our fridge smells like german block cheese. gonk ) So we played Unreal Tournament on my dreamcast like crazy, it was quite enjoyable actually. We then went up into my bedroom, and we watched Silent Hill on my portable DVD player. We discussed with both our parents, and they agreed, Heather could stay the night.
So we went over to her house, and grabbed her stuff, and talked to her mom for like, half an hour, came back, Looked at the Azure Green catalog, and then watched the extended edition of Terminator 2 about halfway through. Upon hearing the noises of my parents having gone to bed, we snuck downstairs--Well, I snuck anyways, Heather was quite noisy.-- and hopped on the computer. I showed her 4chan, before discovering a link to Death Note episode 2 (SUBBED!) on /cm/. After that, we watched South Park for like, 2 seconds, then I made her watch this Scientology presentation thingy. Anyways, we ended up playing Hydrothunder and Sega Rally until we fell asleep, on the floor, in front of the dreamcast. I finally woke up and turned it off.

So anyways, I was rather chipper today, because I discovered a portable tape player in the box of stuff my mom was going to send to Goodwill. Now I can listen to Offspring anywhere!

But, Par usu, things became sucky and I are now unhappy again. Ah well.

So I have a four day weekend, yosh! Today is the first day of it.

So, I'm sitting here, home alone, the furnacestat ( :3 ) is on, I'm just the right temperature, and everything outside is being lightly dusted by drifting snowflakes. I'm quite content. AND I'm listening to only the best radio station ever on my stereo, The Carp. I'm doing well today, So It'll be great until mom comes home around 2:00.

(AND, ZOMG, 'Tell me Baby' By Red Hot chili Peppers just came on the radio!<333 )

Gah and a half.
Soo....
This past week or so has been a holy mess. I could go into more detail, but I'll refrain. But either way..

It ended up with me staying at my aunt's house for the past 4 or so days. I won't say it sucked, but it certainly wasn't fantastic, to be sure. PLUS she dragged me to CHURCH (shriek) with her, and I had to withstand sunday school with a bunch of evil little demo--I mean children. It was less than fantastic.

Plus the whole church thing was kind of awakward, since BOTH of my little cousins had already been through communion, and I was like the only goddamn person in church who hadn't! So I just stood in the back of the church, and people looked at me funny.

Flippin' wierd dream, and fun with the memberlist.
Yeah, I finally found the memberlist yesterday, so I spent about 2 hours looking through it, and I made this:

Yeah. I had to copy and paste screenshots of everyone's names on the list. now, you know when you go to your profile, your usernumber is in the URL apparently. But according to the memberlist, the user number is different. For example, in my profile, my user number is stated to be 32,889. Which it definately isn't on the screenshot. But that's pretty cool, no less.

Anyways, my wierd dream had something to do with me sneaking into some creepy guys house to rescue his 3 daughters, who were abused with regularity. I believe I managed to sneak the youngest one out through the window, and the other two were warning me that he was coming... And of course, me being cocky was like "Naw."

>_< Well. *ahem* He came, and he nothing short of flipped out and threatened to kill me, which is where it got wierd, because... *shudders* god... I don't even wanna say, you know, this creepy old fat guy forced me to give him head, and...ew.. Just... *shudder* And the worst part is I could recount that part perfectly. But anyways, the dream sort of skips ahead from there, and apparently the police had Arrived, and he's all pulling out guns, and I'm like, "give me a gun, I can shoot well." So he gives me this gun and some ammo. And it was really wierd. I would say it was... I dunno, maybe a .22, by the the gun, but the bullets were fricken huge, plus, they loaded into the gun wierd, it was like.. the top of the gun flipped open and you pushed them into this little slot... I dunno. But, I woke up.

Worst. Dream. Ever.

Homecoming dance and other rants.
So, last night was the homecoming dance, and I did go, and I did have a 'date', if you will. I danced quite a bit, but I also sat and talked quite a bit,too. Although, I must say It was pretty nice to see Ray again. razz I had forgotten how chivalrous he was.

I was there for 2 hours, but it felt like...frickin', 20 minutes.

The whole homecoming week thing, though, is WAAAAAAAAAAAY more fun in the high school.

Anyways.... the other day in German, I was telling Valerie how I thought Fall was my favorite season, but maybe Winter really is. I told her, I don't care for the coldness that much, but....just to walk home, and see everything covered in an immaculate white, the road I live on seeming so much more like a lane than anything else. It's lined with pine trees on the one side, and those covered in snow is a lovely sight. But it's just how one drinks hot chocolate, and hot apple cider.... and it's the wet coats and snowpants and mittens and scarves sitting on top of the vent meagerly trying to dry, wating for the next time they go and get wet again; And the way that you take walks as the snow falls on you, your cool breath turning to vapor before you. How There's always a wonderful smell of something hot in the oven when you come home from school....

You can't tell me that doesn't sound splendid, even if you hate the cold.

Valerie listened intently, before she smiled, laughed, and then said. "You're a romantic, aren't you?"

"Yeah... I guess I am."


I guess I am.
