I took a five-day trip to AX 2010 with two other users on Gaia; Charlotte de Colde, and jessicatheanimefreak2. We attended all four days of the convention (July 1-4) This was my first year going to AX, so everything was very new and exiting for me.

For AX 2010, I cosplayed as Lucas, the male Pokémon Trainer from Diamond and Pearl. Very few people actually recognized who I was cosplaying as by name. Quite a few people complemented the hat I made for my cosplay. I must say, my Lucas cosplay was very accurate. I even bought a Turtwig plush at the expo to go with my cosplay. I think it made my cosplay more complete and colorful. And, of course, since I was cosplaying as a Pokémon Trainer, I brought along my Pokéball.

Day 1
The first day left some interesting impressions. Since it was my first time at an anime convention, I was too shy to ask people for pictures. However, I soon grew accustomed to it. On the first day, there was a Sailor Moon gathering, so we went to that. We also watched the Eureka 7 movie: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers.

Day 2
On the second day, walked around the exhibit hall, which was where all of the shops and merchandise is sold. This is the day I bought my Turtwig plush, and a couple of pokémon buttons and pins. I also started an epic caramelldansen train at the expo. I carried around a portable stereo playing the music and walked around with the intention of amassing a mob of people to do the dance that goes with caramelldansen. At first, nobody joined, but after a while, we had a huge group following us.

Day 3
The third day's feature was the Gaia Online Panel. I was really awesome; Lanzer was there, so was DJ Helsing and swarf. I also won a Fremere's Guard at the panel. xd


Day 4
Not much happened on the last day. The exhibit hall closed early, so I was rushing to spend the last of my money. Fortunately, I was able to buy two prints from the artist alley. I also had some epic matches on Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I won against another Ike, then a different person, also playing as Ike beat me.

So... yeah, that's pretty much it. But I'm sure I left out some details, because I can't remember every single thing that happened over the four days. sweatdrop
