I THOUGHT WRONG

I thought I was confused before,
but now I have come to see.
That things are just getting worse
And I wonder how this can be?

I thought I was alone.
and nobody cared for me.
But I certainly was wrong
As I now come to see.

I thought these confessions
Would stop after one,
But more were made
And I can only hope there done

I thought I wanted this.
But I come to realize now.
I might end up hurting someone
But I don't want to let anyone down

I thought no one cared.
I thought no one saw.
I thought no one could see me,
I didn't think I was wrong.
