People tell me: That I am brutally honest and hold nothing back. It has even been said that I get along well with those under my command on the battlefield yet when off it my men listen to me and I don't take back talk from any.
About me I will tell you a story: I will tell you from the begining so that you may understand my troubles from the start. House Rulerian was for many gernerations the right hand of the king and granted the title of grand duke in the kingdom. For a long time it stayed that way untill my grandfather came along. He was a man without honor for what he had done was something that could never be forgiven or pardoned. After all how could a kingdom forgive the rape of a princess. That may have been how my father was born but the princess in questioned was also kidnapped by my grandfather until she gave birth and then killed by my grandfather. Some might ask how I know these things but I am reading it from his logs. The king at the time was enraged with what my grandfather had done and not only stripped him of house and rank but hand him publicly executed. Knowing nothing about the childs background or it's blood ordered it to the orphanage.
When my father turned of age he joined the military and rose through the ranks in an attempt to kill the king he remembered. Yet when he got there the king on the throne was not the same and after a few years of letting the grudge dissapate they became friends. My father was granted the title of a noble on the day I was born which started us in the climb back up to our rightful place. When I reached the age to where I joined the military as well so my father could retire The king granted my father the right to be Baron of the westernmost outlying lands. Meanwhile I was in the military rising through the rank just as fast as my father once did. It took but three years before they made me captain and let me take assignments that I chose. Six years after that for my service and loyalty I was made one of the elite generals and granted the nickname of Tiger General Magnus. Upon My return to my fathers estate six months ago for some well deserved leave I was informed of what has been happeneing while I was fighting outside the kingdom. I went to his majesties military commander and requested that I be stationed inside the kindom as to ensure peace. It took three months for my request to be granted and my first order was to have my legion take up the honor of gaurding the royal castle and it's immediate cities. Then not three weeks ago my father sent me a letter that had been sent to him. I had read the letter what must have been a dozen times and saw this as my oppurtunity to take back the title and lands that belong to my family be right. Placing it in my grandfathers logs and readying a satchel for travel as well three uniforms for changing I submitted a copy of the letter to the commander upon seeing it he cleared me for leave as long as I still gave orders to my men and acted as my station so the people would not falter. Agreeing to this request I set out two days ago for the castle and expect to be there by noon this very day.
