~War~
Ok so this really peeves me. Well actually let me explain first; So you know how nowadays wars consist of guns and bombs and cannons and tanks and other stuff similar to that. However I'm reading a book that when you go to war, you actually go to war. The characters aren't hiding behind stupid machines, they're fighting with swords and their own two hands. So this is what peeves me; What bugs me that no one seems to use their own strength anymore like necessary to win a fair fight. I honestly think that the bigger gun/bullet or whatever will win. But with swords it doesn't matter the size, what matters is the owners strength. In this fight the better man will win and thats that. I'm not entirely sure why it bugs me, it just does *shrug*. I mean maybe I'm being rude to the soldiers but really? Sure guns and what not are the "new thing" but good old fashion swords can win a battle just as well. I mean going to war on a beautiful cheasnut stallion with a sword in one hand and the reins in the other is like a dream of mine (of course everyone else will be on horseback and have swords too and I can actually use a sword somewhat well). But hiding behind sandbags and shooting rounds insn't bravery, in my opinion its kind of cowardice. Again maybe I'm wrong but isn't using you'r own skill better than how far your gun shoots? Sure you have to aim, and pulling a trigger is work but your not facing the battle yoursef, your letting a machine do most of the work. *Shrugs* That's just my opinion, you may disagree and that's fine everyone has their own imput. Thats just that.
