I knew my mind would never be at ease.
Such damaging phrases that will forever remain.
Tears ran down my face,
As if never to stop....a endless river.
Comfort from another could not ease this pain.
A colorful fragrance of anguish was radiant.
Bringing with it every agonizing memory
Ran through my mind,
Like an old record playing sad sorrowful songs.
The term friendship was thrown out in front of me...
Stepped on many a times.
Over and over and over.
Years were counted as months,
Months counted as days,
Days counted as seconds,
Seconds...mere nothingness.
Moments of happiness turned out to be a lie.
Listening to the not yet mature words spoken,
Made a foreign smile appear on my face,
Can you not tell that it was fake?
Has anger blinded you?
This connection that we shared,
That was simply a motion away....
Is now a world apart.
