Wolf Ridge was amazing. The first couple days we were at camp, and it was pretty cool. One day we went rock climbing all day. I repelled down a cliff! It was soo scary, but so much fun. We got to see all the raptors and a porcupine. He was soo cute! His name's Thistle. Here's a picture:
Then we played a bunch of Sprout Ball. It was a lot of fun at Wolf Ridge.
On Wednesday, we left for our overnight. We spent an hour and twenty minutes on a bus to get to the drop off site on Birch Lake. Then we canoed for at least an hour to get the actual camp site. We were on this huge rock. There were 11 of us kids and 2 counselors, so there were 2 tents with 4 kids, 1 tent with 3 kids, and 1 tent with the counselors. It was really fun because all we did all day was swim, canoe, and eat. If we weren't doing those, we were chillin' on the rocks. We had a million pitas. It was wa-mazing. On the second day, when we went to get Colette and Mike (our counselors, who were HIlarious) up, Colette as all "It's only 9 o'clock, go back to bed!" It was hilarious. We were all starving, though, so we kept bugging them to get up. It was so much fun. Neysa even invented Neysnack, which was DELICIOUS! It's just Peanut Butter mixed with brown sugar on a graham cracker, but its ******** amazing. I had like, the best week of my life. It was soooooooo much fun. I can't wait til next year!
