Actually, I don't really even remember all that led up to it; we were in a Starbucks sippin' our drinks (I had a green tea I brought because I don't trust the crap they serve...), and just discussing things in general. Not exactly sure what, most of the conversation is a blur, as things usually are to me at night, but eventually the topic of conversation drifted to the way things are headed in modern society, how everything's going to Hell in a handbasket.
He didn't seem to mind, guess it was good business for him.
In any case, we got to arguing like we usually do when we start on the subject of human society, and it was getting pretty heated (pun fully intended). I think I said somehting about how it was too bad he wouldn't be recognized for it, and that if he wasn't a second rate failure of a devil (or somesuch, I wasn't really concerned with being politically correct at the time), hell might still be his and he would get the credit.
Something like that.
He started shaking though...I think he might have bee crying. I sure hope not...
On second thought, he could have been just really, really angry. That would make more sense...today has been a little too perfect: the birds are out, it's nice and warm and sunny, everything;s been going well for me today, but I can't help feeling like it's all just leading up to a big fall later. Probably tomorrow, during the motorcycle ride.
Maybe I should go on that... ninja
