I am The Black Mage......or at least I used to be. I used to have powers mortals only could begin to fathom. Unfortunately the creature who gave me the blessing that were my powers also paced a horrid curse upon my soul. "Every time you use your powers one of my servants shall steal some of your life." The beast said. With a wave of his hand the demon conjured a shade that dug its filthy claws into my shoulders. The pain was unbearable, causing me to fall to my knees as my eyes began to bleed. Now I travel this land with my magic to protect me and my curse to kill me if I ever use my it..........damn demon.
