Hi everyone. Thought I'd leave a more detailed of the "where have you been?" question here so only the ones I really care about could read. Alsao please forgive any bad grammer & spelling as I'm very tired & my meds are kicking in so I'm fighting sleep. I just wanted everyone to know cause I'm not sure how much longer I'll be gone.
Ok, this started with my youngest (He's 6 by the way) being sick as some of you may already know. He was diagnoised with strep throat Monday. Well we were still trying to keep fever as well as food & drink down till Wednesday. Well Wed. Afternoon his fever spiked again to 103.6 So I took him back to the Drs that afternoon. They admitted him into the hospital that same afternoon & thats where I've been till 10 o'clock tonight. My husband stayed tonight with my youngest son & sent me home to get some rest.
Good news is, hes doing much better. Bad news is, even tho his fever has not returned since wednesday & he's not threw up since early thursday morning, His white blood count still remains high. Which indicates he's still has infection. Good news its not strep. Bad news is, the dr doesn't know what it is thats causing it. He's had more tests run & his antibiotic changed once more because the infection was not responding to the antibiotic hes been giving by I.V. since Wed. The Dr. seems to think its sinus related right now but hes still not 100% sure so thats why he's still in the hospital tonight. sad
Now my little boy is getting restless & he is feeling much better. Hes been a wiggle worm & playing xbox up there & generally back to his normal playing self. xd The dr says he might get to come home tomarrow but he wants to check on a few things & another test wont be back till possibly sunday. Right now the Dr is shooting for either tomarrow night or sunday morning as a release date. So let's keep our fingers crossed k?
You will not here me ask this to often but would all those that read this keep my little boy in thier thoughts & prayers. I'm sorry this entry is so long I just need to vent some as I wouldnt cry infront of my little boy today as I didnt want him to upset him any more than hes been so I'm doing it this way & it kinda helps putting pen to paper so to speak.
