Well, the auction is over, and I lost, but I received so much help I'm less sad than I should have been I guess ^_^


I've been a gaian for a year and a half, and it's my first quest. A little bit hopeless, but I have to give it a try ^-^

There are many artists I'm a huge fan of. Because I love their styles, and they have professional coloring and inking skills. Seeing their art makes me want to cut my hand, for I can't reach their level. I could fill a post with their qualities.


But SatouGaki... her art leaves me speechless. It remembers me of things I've never seen. It's beautiful, and poetic, and perfecly done. I feel stupid writing this, but I have to make you understand how much I love her art, to the point of starting a quest, even if I have huge medschool finals in 2 weeks, because her auction ends feb 7th.

The Story Behind Everything

When I was a newbie in July 2003, one day I got a pink box. It was my first pink box evar. I opened it and got android prosthetics.

That was at the time of the android prosthetics thing that summer, when they were pretty hot. You can find stuff about it in Arwen's newspaper in Commerce, if it's still there. sweatdrop

Well, I didn't like those prosthetics very much, so I went into the Exchange to sell it. I got a few offers, most prominent a grizzly and 6k or so from a guy whose name had "Seth" in it and a July Letter and 4k from AnimeDDRAngel.

(It's kind of sad that I remember all this. >_> wink

Well AnimeDDRAngel told me the android prosthetics were for her and her boyfriend, and I was pretty greedy back then but pretended not to be when she offered more gold to her offer, refusing the extra gold.

So the trade went through.

After a few months and into 2004, I think I saw her questing for the panda again. I'm not sure, but I think so. I'm not sure if she has it now, either, but if that was her questing thread back then, I did feel bad and almost wanted to return it to her without charge or anything. sweatdrop Like I said, though, I'm a greedy lump and didn't do anything at all. >_<

So now I'm attempting to redeem myself. AnimeDDRAngel, if you're still looking for a panda hat, I will automatically add on 3million to your offer if you have an offer. Or I will straight trade it for a rose corsage. But only for AnimeDDRAngel. This offer will only expire after my join date of June 17.

But this also means good stuff for the rest of you! If you want that panda hat and have been hustling after it for awhile but think you don't have enough, I will look at any offer you have as long as it's over 8million, because I plan to donate some stuff to other people too. xd And hey, if you're nice and perky and strange enough, your chances increase lots!
