This is just this random poem I came up with when I was looking out my window today....I felt like weather like this deserves some sort of memento or something. The idea of truth hidden by snow and mist has always seemed interesting to me, so I decided to write about it. I hope you like it! I'm not that good at writing poems, but I tried!
Truth Storm
A whirlwind sent when someone grinned
A maelstrom of wispy white powder
Something stirs on the Eastern Wind
And the shouts of nature get louder
The rooftops all layer away
And the queen of snow keeps crying
The people all seem to sway
Now every emotion is flying
Nothing to see but a swirling blanket
A message sent in trust
This warning says we can't just fake it
We can't hide in the whitening dust
To face the Truth is to confront a snowstorm
To wipe the lies from the shelves
To look in the eye of how we were born
And to learn to trust ourselves.
