Inuyasha- The Unfaithful Day: Continued
Miroku looked at Sango with a sad gesture toward the depressed and alone Kagome. Sango shook her head and then whispered to Miroku. "She's been like that ever since we left Inuyasha." "I know, but she hasn't eaten one thing, and it seems as though she's even more depressed then she was when Kikyou was alive." "Well that's because she must feel as though since now Kikyou is gone, Inuyasha won't even think about anything but sadness over her death." "True, wait, how would you feel if that happened to you?" "I, um, I don't know, wait, do you mean in Kagome's posistion or Inuyasha's?" "Kagome's." "Well, I would feel as though, wait, Miroku, we shouldn't be talking about this right now, Kagome is over there depressed, right now she needs friends." Miroku nodded and stood up walking over to Kagome, whose face was filled with nothing, but sorrow. Sango and Shippo also walked over and sat down next to Kagome. "Kagome, don't worry, Inuyasha will be--" Miroku started saying as Kagome interrupted. "No, he won't, Kikyou, the one he loved, was killed, by the person he hates, Naraku, he'll never be fine," she said as she buried her face in her knees. Shippo couldn't stand seeing Kagome like this. "Kagome! Inuyasha will turn around! My father is gone, and was killed by the Thunder Brothers, I was depressed, and I'm still sad about that. But I turned around about that, Inuyasha will too, don't worry!" he exclaimed. This got Kagome out from hiding her face and she moved her legs to her right side. "Yeah I guess, you're right Shippo, but I don't know," she said with the most depressed tone. Sango just had to say something, but what could she say. She then knew every single little bit of what she would say to try and help Kagome. "My father, my village, and the demon slayers are all dead, of course I'm depressed, I know that I can never see them again, but that doesn't mean it should run my life. I still care about them, there's not a day that goes by that I don't care about them. In my heart I know that they are always there, and they are resting in peace, while I shall join them at the end of my lifetime. But I do not let that run my life, I have to make my life the best as it could be, while Kohaku is still out there, and I have my best friends at my side, how could I be miserable? So don't worry about it, Inuyasha, he'll be back to himself in no time, don't worry," Sango explained smiling at Kagome cheerfully. Kagome gave off a smirk and then stood up. "Well, we can't let Inuyasha be all by himself, we have to follow him," she said with a stern tone this time. Sango, Miroku, and Shippo nodded with a concerned look, even Kirara nodded with a "meow" sound. Kirara transformed into this huge cat with fierce fangs and even more vicious red eyes. Shippo, Sango, and Miroku climbed onto Kirara with Sango in front. "Come on!!" Shippo exclaimed to Kagome whom was staring at the clouds. She shook her head and smiled at them. "Oh right!" she yelled as she climbed onto Kirara and Kirara jumped up into the air flying high in the sky. As they flew through the sky Kagome looked out behind them at the slow moving clouds. She sighed and closed her eyes wishing that for just one minute, everything will stop and this would just be a dream. It wasn't though, it was real, and she had to face the facts. "Come on! We have to move!" she yelled with anger in her voice as everyones heart skipped some beats. Kirara flew faster and soon they were flying over a forest as clouds were overhead. Kagome looked around and soon she saw a fast pacing object that was moving faster then light. "I-Inu...yasha?" she said as she peered down and then yelled. "Inuyasha!" The fast pacing object looked up and saw Kagome then stopped and shook its head. Kagome realized it was Inuyasha, she knew it was, and so she peered down just to make sure her theory was correct. As she leaned over to get a closer look she fell and screamed at the top of her lungs. The red figure looked up and his silver hair swayed. "K-Kagome!!" he yelled as he ran up the trees to try and catch her. "Kagome!" He held out his arms and jumped up high. Inuyasha moved his legs in the air to try and get the tree branches out of his way as Kagome slowly fell screaming her bloody lungs out. "INUYASHAAA!" Inuyasha grabbed her and then rolled onto the ground dirt covering his robe of the fire rat. "What is your problem?!" he yelled really ticked off. "I-I'm sorry... I slipped..." "YEAH RIGHT AND YOU EXPECT ME TO BE THERE ALL THE TIME TO SAVE YOU?! WHY ARE YOU GUYS HERE ANYWAY?!" "Cause... I... I mean... we were worried about you..." "I NEED TO AVENGE KIKYOU!" "I know you feel--" "YOU DON'T KNOW HOW I FEEL!" "INUYASHA SIT!" Kagome yelled as Inuyasha fell face first into the ground. "You haven't been listening to a single word I have been saying this whole time! YES I DO KNOW HOW YOU FEEL! LOSING SOMEONE YOU CARE DEEPLY FOR! WELL I THOUGHT I JUST ABOUT LOST YOU WHEN YOU RAN OFF! I WANTED TO COME BACK FOR YOU CAUSE I WAS WORRIED ABOUT YOU AND I WASN'T GOING TO LET YOU GO OFF BY YOURSELF! THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS DO!" Kagome shouted as she turned with her fists clenched holding the tears behind as she stomped off. "Even now... he cares about Kikyou... and it seems as though, he doesn't care the least about me..." she thought as she walked off as a shard of ice flew right past her face leaving a cut. "W-what the?" Suddenly hail just came pouring in and Kirara whom was carrying Shippo, Miroku, and Sango was forced to come straight down into the ground. A loud crash was heard when Kirara was forced into a tree and screams were piercing everyones ears as Sango, Miroku, and Shippo were hitting all parts of trees as they crashed down onto the ground with blood staining their clothes and the grass. "SANGO! MIROKU! SHIPPO!" Kagome and Inuyasha yelled as they ran over to them frightened as Inuyasha looked at them in pain. "Oh my god..." Kagome said as she took Sango's cold hand feeling the warmth running away. She quickly grabbed into her bag which happened to have a first aid kit and she quickly bandaged them up. "Please... please... please let them be ok," Kagome said with her hands covering her eyes with sorrow in her heart of the thought of her closest friends dying right before her glassy eyes. Inuyasha was speechless. "No... no... Shippo, Miroku, Sango, you guys can't die!" he yelled with pain throbbing at him as he felt this huge guilt struck in his throat. "First Kikyou, no, you guys can't die!" Kirara transformed from beast to two tailed injured cat in pain. Kagome ran over and grabbed the small cat and bandaged her as best as she could. Inuyasha just couldn't speak, but yet couldn't turn away. The sight of his friends dying in front of his eyes again was too horrible to bare. He looked at Kagome hoping for a sign of hope and she looked back at him then looked away without recognition. Inuyasha tightly clenched his fists and stood up just looking down at his close friends' bloody bodies. Kagome sighed sadly looking at them and then took out some cream from her first aid kit from the present time. She comes from the present time through a well called the bone eaters well. Kagome was in her own shrine when her brother called for her because her cat was gone then she was pulled into the wall from a centipede demon to the feudal era. Eversince then she has been traveling to the feudal era. Now, Kagome took the first aid cream and rubbed it into her friends' wounds. She tried to hold back the tears, but the pain of seeing her friends die before her very eyes was something she could not bare.
