"So you're name is Clara? And the boy over there?" Tina said pointing at the boy in the corner of the room
The coon tailed woman in the purple dress glances over at her son who was playing with a rock as though it were an action figure. "That's my son, Baxter."
Nodding, Tina continued, "So why are you out like this? Are you journeying to some where as well?"
The woman looked down and sighed sadly, "More like moving away. See, we come from a small village northwest of here. Unfortunately, that village is often attacked by demons in the surrounding forests."
"Oh...I am so sorry. So you decided to move away because of the attacks?"
"Usually, it doesn't really happen as often, but lately, the demons in the area have become more hostile."
"Any reason why that is?"
"Well...it started a long time ago, the person that founded our little village had an argument with a fox demon. The demon was kicked out of that village and forced into a form of exile. She was told to stay in one area of the forest, and was contained there by officials. She had friends though..."
"And they, in turn, attacked the town?"
"Yes, as if a feud were going on. All of the demons in that area, and half of the anthros, fled to join her group. Eversince then, they've been fighing, thier group and our village."
"I see, but you said that they recently became more hostile."
"Oh yes. No one knows why, but it became too dangerous for some and we fled."
"I am a demon myself, maybe I can be of some help?"
"That's sweet of you dear, but you seem too gentle to get your hands dirty in such a situation."
"I've seen worse, hun. Do not fear for me. I'll set out, first thing tomorrow. Hows that?"
Clara smiled and hugged Tina, "Thank you, though I'm sure we will not return home..."
"It still does not mean one can let such fighting continue."
"You mentioned a journey. Are you searching for something?"
"My sister. She had dissappeared, and I was hoping she had wandered somewhere to the far side of Gaia."
"So you are just trying to reunite with family...How sweet..."
"Yet, she will have to wait. I'm sure I can do something for your home town."
"Thank you miss. Thank you very much."
