Not for me. New year? So? The only thing differant about it is the fact we change 3 numbers on the date, or maybe get a new calander. For me it's just another day to be pressured about school, or something you haven't done but you need to. Just another 365 days, or 366, whatever. It's the same thing, over and over. Sure, you might go to a new grade, meet new friends, accomplish something new. Speaking of accompishing, what's up with "New years resolutions"? I mean, can't we set those goals anyway? Maybe all new years is is a time when we FINALLY realize what we could have done the LAST year. Sure, some people go to parties and have a blast, but whenever I go, I think to much. I'm the lonely one sitting in the corner thinking about the point to this thing. I mean, to watch a ball drop? Yay... ok, sometimes I have fun, but not because "OMG IT'S THE NEW YEAR!!!" it's more because I'm surrounded by people I know. I never EVER want to have a party on new years. NEVER. Everyone does, anyway. I'd rather have a Christmas party in July (not such a bad idea)....
