Digimon Chaos, Chapter 1
Episode 1: Right Towards Fate, Away from Reality

Summary: It’s calling her. Donni steps into the digital world only to find unknown secrets of Yurimon and the start towards Apocalypse for the digital world all thanks to Alphamon. The prophecy may prove right, fate might make a complete 180, and either way, all credit goes to the two destined to save digiworld from annihilation. (shoujo-ai/yuri series)
A/N: Nyaa~!! I am actually getting with a fanfic I’ve been thinking about. Hooshaa for me! And this is one I swear on it I will get onto (and finish) soon.
Disclaimer: I own no digimon. That’s Hongo-sama’s job, so……. Also, Yurimon made by my girlfriend. <33
Warning: It contains yuri between… well, a human and a digimon. Now usually I don’t do stories like this at all, but this is a tad of a twist. Don’t wanna stick around? Press your back button like a good little girl/boy.

There it is. There. That voice again. It’s calling me once more.

Donni snapped out of her cloud-observing daydream and stared down at the dark forest ahead. A slight shiver trickled down her spine and a few deep breaths followed after as she pulled her sunglasses over her head. It has been well over a month since she’s been living in the southern side of the United States-- Georgia, to be exact-- and she’s been getting awfully strange vibes. And she wasn’t enjoying it at all.

Being born in Alaska, she was too used to the cold. She loved it there; a beautiful scenery was the best feature of that magnificent place, she opinioned. But since the death of her father, her mother moved on. And moving on also meant transferring to another house in another state. New beginning, new surroundings… a new sixth sense.

Next to the reasonable size residence she called home was a forest. Many rumours were told about that forest, and not very good ones either. But one that worried Donni the most was the story of a girl who was running away from an abusive human being-- only to run into the forest and never be seen again.

It scared her. It scared her and she didn’t like it one bit.

My mind is saying to follow the voice. Maybe someone is in trouble. Someone outta be in trouble, calling out for help like this. But my body won‘t move. Paralyzed. It’s lost its courage. No way…

She wanted to go inside that forest. When she was little, she was saved by a girl. Drowning in freezing ice water, she had the courage to save her on her own. She admired that little girl, and made a promise she still hasn’t broken. A desperate call for help, and the prince in shining armour will save the day. Never let a female suffer and never hear one cry in sorrow; all will be satisfied.

It’s a females’ voice. Never break a promise, I was always taught that. So move, damn body, MOVE!

A deep breath and Donni tore into the forest, brushing past branches and vines. A few scratches on the ankles, a jab on the cheek here and there, she made it an attempt to find that voice and save her, no matter what the cost.

My friends were wrong, she thought. I’m not crazy, that is truly a voice. How can they not hear this poor girl crying out for help?

Donni tripped over a thick log, her body congregating with the soft earth. Panting, she made an effort to pick herself back up again. Covering her torso with her own small arms, nearly black eyes scanned the forest left, then right, then left again. Still no one.

I’m not giving up. I will find.. Uhh?

A sudden sharp pain on the side, the girl stumbled onto the ground, holding her side tight. The unexpected ache reached the head, then down to the legs, and all over the body.

“No…” she whispered. “Fate doesn’t end this way-- I have to-- Ahh~!!”

A soft light appeared in Donni’s face, brightening a small portion of the forest. The breathless girl looked up with emotionless eyes and shut them tight, a piercing scream escaping from her mouth. A few moments later, the girl fell still, her heart beating slowly but steadily again, as the light expanded, covering the forest with now green numbers of zero and one. Donni, being lifted off the ground now, was still conscious, but she was once again dreaming of the beautiful clouds hovering over the dull city-- and how she was flying over the heavens.

~*~*~*~*~

“No! Go away!! I don’t have anything of yours, so why don’t you leave me alone??”

Donni slowly exposed one eye and tapped her head with her hand. The throbbing pain was still there, but she had to set that aside. This was who she was looking for. It was in her voice.

But the forest doesn’t look the same. A white light, I remember-- wha… what happened?

Holding herself up, Donni watched as a small human (or was it a creature?) defending herself against a giant red beast-like fiend. The girl had a white tank top on, revealing her small bellybutton and odd blue markings on the side. Two small wings behind her back, a large bushy tail, long pointy ears and ungodly hefty nails on her paws.

Yep. That was definitely a creature.

The giant red creature stared at Donni, then at the creature again, blowing in a deep breath. ”Exhaust Flame!” he yelled, and a huge ball of fire ignited from his mouth, shooting at the girl. Jumping back in reply, she turned to Donni and gasped. Blue eyes met black as Donni blushed a deep red, turning to the dragon.

“You little demon! Are you the one who caused these problems??”

The monster, obviously confused at the girls’ comment, lifted up his giant claw. “Plasma Blade!” A white blade came charging towards Donni, as the girl attempted to shield herself with her arm. The other launched forward, moving the girl out of the way. Knocking her onto the ground, the blade crashed on Donni’s previous standing spot, where she now stood on the ground with the creature on top.

“Oh! Sorry, I mean I--” the creature stammered, and rubbed the back of her neck. “Oi, that’s damage there. Poor innocent girl.”

Donni raised an eyebrow from the last comment as the creature jumped up and round-kicked the demon. “And there you have it-- for now, at least.” she extended a hand. “Need help?”

“I should be asking you that!” Donni spat out in reply, and immediately shut her mouth. “Nu, I mean-- I didn’t mean to sound rude but…” she took the creatures’ hand and helped herself up. “Weren’t you the one who asked for help? I think I need some explaining, and now!”

I think so too.” the girl answered, watching the dragon demon lift himself up. “But now’s not a good time, Nyaa? You might wanna find a place to hide out until I take him down for good.”

Donni nodded in reply and started to run towards the other direction, but turned to the creature once again. ‘Hey-- I uh… never got your name. Err, I’m Donni, by the way.”

“Guess I’ll explain everything later.” she replied, giving the demon a punch. The monster stepped back a few and shook his head to reality again. “Name’s Yurimon.”

“Yurimon?” Donni echoed. “Weird name-- uh, no offense.” There was a small silence before Donni’s body took over again, charging to a safer place while the creature had to deal with the monster by herself.

“I need to call someone, this is dangerous.” Donni thought out loud, pulling out what she thought was her cell phone from her back pocket. It looked nothing like one., so what the hell was it?

Shaped as a rectangle, the green and black device shimmered in the light with nothing but a blank screen in front of her. A large button and a couple of small ones along with it, she decided to press a couple of buttons. “One of these buttons outta be the one to 911. Police, ambulance, crazy house, any one works! Please, just work!!”

Just then, a couple of small beeps was heard on the device as another female voice took over. “Donni-- you have been called forth to--”

“Police?” the girl sounded hopeful. “Please get down here ASAP, a crazy demon thing is attacking and--”

“You must listen carefully to the message.” she interrupted. Like she knew exactly what it was ready to say, Donni settled down and sat on a nearby tree trunk as the lady continued. “You are The Chosen One. The one to choose the destiny of this world. It can be a peaceful place to live. The world could be rid of evil and good digimon live in peace. Or it can turn to darkness. The Digiworld will reach apocalypse and evil will rule with an iron fist. It’s your choice to make.”

“Digiworld?” Donni raised her eyebrow, a confused expression on her face. “So I take it I’m not on Earth anymore…”

“Welcome to Digiworld.” she answered after a few moments. “You can determine its future. Along with an unknown digimon, the world has two roads to take.”

“Why my decision how the digiworld ends up; I don’t live here!” she almost whined. “I remember hearing a voice calling me. Then-- the pain! I was almost knocked out! A white light-- must have took me here.”

“It’s part of the prophecy.” she responded.

Donni was quiet for a moment before a loud scream could be heard from where the two creatures were fighting. Running as fast as she could, she stopped and fell to the ground as she watched Yurimon panting for breath, knocked onto the ground. Donni’s legs felt weak, but she turned to the device. “I want to help Yurimon; what should I do?”

“Yurimon?” the woman questioned after what seemed like an unbearable long silence. “I don’t recall a digimon named Yurimon.”

“But I have to help her, she’s gonna get killed if I don’t do anything and…” she chocked on her words and tears started falling from her eyes. Never be ashamed to cry, it’s something that’ll make you strong one day. “The promise.” Her legs had enough strength to move and she leaped in front of Yurimon as the monster whipped out another Plasma Blade. The blade came hurling towards the two girls as Yurimon tried to move Donni out of the way. “Are you crazy; we’ll both get killed!!”

“The Prince in shining armour…” she whispered. Looking up at the monster with glowing green eyes, a faint jade aura surrounding her. “I will protect you, that is my duty!!”

A desperate call for help…

The device shone brightly as Yurimon turned white, a circle of what looked like data encircling her.

…and the prince in shining armour will save the day…

“Yurimon digivolve to--” the clothes were striped off as they were replaced by golden armour. A mask covering her delicate eyes, and her blue hair growing slightly longer, she whipped out a long wand.

…Never let a female suffer…

Donni stared in awe as Yurimon transformed right before her eyes. The beauty landed on the ground and pointed the wand at the dragon demon. “You want to mess with her, you’re gonna have to deal with GirlonGirlmon. “

…and never hear one cry in sorrow…

“Wha--what?” Donni took deep breaths, glad she was able to save her in time. “All right, looks like she’s gonna be okay.”

“More than okay.” the creature replied, raising her wand in the air. A small ball formed in the center as she pointed it at the monster again, this time with more aggression. “Blossoming Rainbow!!’

All will be satisfied. All will be satisfied…

Lights danced across the sky as they encircled the monster. He roared and a few shining beams turned the monster into a mere egg.

“Whoa…” Donni awed. “What is this, exactly?”

“You are in the digital world.” Yurimon replied. “And seeing as I can digivolve with your help, seems I’m your partner.”

Partner?” she blushed. “What does that mean??”

Yurimon laughed in response as Donni scratched the back of her head. This is insane, where am I? Digiworld? I don’t recall finding this in a map…

“Okay, looks like we’ll talk.” Yurimon replied, watching the red egg rise up into the sky. “How ‘bout over a picnic? I haven’t received my daily cup of tea yet.”

Donni nodded in silence as Yurimon walked into a nearby lake. Maybe she’s the one who called. I need to know what’s going on; is she going to be okay??

~*~*~*~*~

A/N: My character talks to herself a lot of times, as you may know. Her conscience is a very important things in this story too. (laughs)
