Koopa kept her invite told no one but Wolven about it. Wolven was too busy rolling around with a clean pair of Tina's underwear to pay attention.
On the 23rd, Tina and Aussa decided to do a secret santa thing within the house hold since money was tight due to groceries and fixing the house up.
The front side and sides of the house were almost completely covered in christmas lights. The tree that the house was built around, Tina's tree, had longs strings of gold and silver tinsil hanging from it's branches. Decoraring the tree seemed to make it a little happier than usual, showing this by displaying is bright fruits which dimly glowed within it's leaves.
in front of the home was a life size figure of a cat-anthro version of Santa Claus, and another of the Grinch.
The insides was decorated with hollies and pointsettas. They didn't bother to get a tree since Tina's tree was more than willing to be decorated this year. The presents were all put on the balcony. Each person bought a present for one other member of the house and put thier gift on the balcony. There were also a few gifts to friends, and even some from friends.
The 24th was spent watching christmas specials and drinking hot cider, while Koopa went to visit her human family. Zapook and Eria went back home for the day. Koopling was also missing that day, yet no one knows where she took off to.
On christmas day, everyone was back, except Koopa, and ready to exchange gifts.
Zapook sat on the floor and opened her gift only to find a hunter green trench coat in it. As she tried it on, Eria giggled to herself, happy to know that Zapook liked her gift.
Tina watched Aussa scream in delight and hug a new game and rush into her room.
Tina sighed as smiled as she said, "I guess I chose the right thing after all."
Zapooked tilted her head in question, "What did you get her?"
Tina shrugged, "Something called 'Oblivion'. It sounded like something she would like."
Aussa's gift was to Eria, which was huge plush Marill pillow almost twice her size. Eria curled up on it, purring and hugging the pillow happily.
Wolven found his gift. The tag said "from Momma and Auntie Tina". He tore off the paper and jumped in the box. Zapook, Eria and Tina watched him jump out of it a minute later wearing footie pajamas that made him look like a moogle, which even had a hood with the little red ball on it.
A water meat doll from the Christmas event was brought down from the balcony. It had a red bow on it, and was given to, Fluffles, Koopa and Chazu's baby chick. The gift itself was from Zapook. Fluffles pecked at the plushie, then nuzzled Zapook's leg and peeped happily.
There was also another gift for Koopling, only this one was labeled 'FROM EVERYONE'. When Koopling opened it, she found a small black and white cloak, and four n** filled dolls that looked like Chazu, Koopa, Dragon and Sephrain. Kicking the Koopa doll and Dragon doll aside, she put the chazu doll up where no one can find it. Then starts chewing on the mauling the third.
Everyone was now off enjoying their gifts. Tina, however, was sitting in the lounge room with a wrapped gift on her lap, waiting patiently. For the entire night she waited, until she eventually went to bed.
The next day, Tina woke up and found the Aussa, Koopling, and Fluffles were up already. Fluffles was, once again, running off with one of Tina's bras. Koopling had completly decapitated her Sephrain plushie and was now gnawing the the Dragon one while sporting her new cloak.
As for Aussa...Tina's pretty sure Aussa hasn't even been to sleep because of her new game.
She walked into the kitchen as stared at Koopa's wrapped gift, which was still sitting on the table where she left it. As she picked it up and began walking to the balcony to put it back for now, the door bell rang. Holding the gift, she went and opened the door and saw her sister standing there, nearly out of breath. Koopa looked at Tina and smiled, then handed her two gifts. One long and narrow, the other a wrapped box.
As reached for the long one, Koopa stopped her.
"Tina, before you open them, Lemme tell you somethin. I got a gift both of your personalities. Sorry I didn't come yesterday...but I didn't forget about the grab bag..Here..." She smiled as she handed Tina the box. Tina opened and found a strange item, known as The Winter Rose. Under it was a pair of drop earings and a matching necklace. Tina then opened her other gift....
It was a beautifully crafted sword with a blade that glistened in the light, and golden thunderbolts carved into the white hilt. The sheath matched the hilt in color and was trimmed with gold.
Tina nearly cried as she looked back and forth at the gifts.
As she looked up to say thank you, she saw that Koopa and the gift she's been saving was already gone. In Koopa's guest room, she layed on the bed, wrapping paper on the floor with two tags. One tag said "FROM TINA" while the other said "FROM ROSE".
She smiled as she sat next to her new sari asoo as she opened Tina's gift. She found a small gift bag, a coupon for a diner in Durem, and a note that said 'check your closet'. Placing the gift on the bed, she opened the closet and smiled. She found her old red and black battle axe, polished and shapened, and the handle was painted over; black with red paw prints on it. She also found a set of spiked bands for her wrists, and, behind her battle axe, an electric guitare.
Koopa laughed to herself, then gather her gifts and tried on the gift Rose sent her.
Tina knocked on the door and handed Zee one more box that had air holes in it. "I'm sorry sis. But you have one more gift. It was left here by Sephrain last night."
When Koopa opened the box, dozens of yellow butterflies flew out and fluttered around the room, sending the two sisters into a giggle fit as they watched them fly around the room.
Tina leaned on Koopa and purred, "It's nice to have you hear again, sis."
Koopa looked down at the floor, "Yeah...I bet."
Tina could tell in her voice something was wrong, but the two of them remained silent and watched the insects slowly flutter out the room, where they spread to just about every room the house.
Tina hugged her sister and said, "Merry Christmas, hun."
Koopa only smiled and pushed her away giggling as she said, "Bah...humbug."
